Attention is a wonderful tool, a tool that also brings tension. With the right focus and practise. we can ease the tension that comes with attention. That is a lovely little paradox. For this practice, I like to bring a gentle mindset with me and have a cozy place where I can softly follow the sound of the bell for 5 minutes.

That's excellent that you pressed play if you had a very busy day.

My name is Patrick Christopher Ehler and I'm your instructor for today.

This short meditation is a bell meditation.

I will ring a gong and the intention of doing so is when we have very busy days and we travel a lot to the future projects or maybe we have been a lot in the past with the mind,

The senses might be helpful to become more present.

And for this I'm using a bell.

Let's start by having a deep breath together.

And when you exhale try to let some tension of your body melt a little away.

With the second deep inhale do a short little body scan and see if there's any tension still holding on.

Maybe the jar and the shoulders and the chest and the fingers.

Maybe in the toes.

And with the next exhale try to see what happens if you ease this tension a little.

When I ring the bell try to feel the sound of every cell of your being.

Keep attention on the sound.

If the mind wanders you can bring yourself super gently back,

Very kind,

And focus again to feel the sound within every cell of your being.

In every cell of your being.

Feel how your presence is deepening.

And with the next bell ring,

Try to go even a little bit deeper with your presence into all of your cells.

And now if you're super fancy,

Do it even deeper.

How deep can you go?

Just have a deep breath together.

And for the next couple of moments,

Let your mind settle into this presence that you're holding right now.

Maybe feel if this presence is even expanding from within you into your outer world.

Be curious.

Thank you for participating.

If you're present,

You build the foundation for a world that's more conscious.

Thanks for doing so.

My name is Patrick Christopher Ehle,

And I wish you a joyful rest of your day.
