Enjoy this short rejuvenation practice based on psychoneuroendocrinology. In research, the loving-kindness meditation workshop helped the participants to cultivate warm and friendly feelings. Overall, telomere length tended to shorten for everyone. “However, the daily practice of loving-kindness meditation appeared to buffer against that attrition,” the researchers said. Participants in the loving-kindness group “showed no significant telomere shortening over time.” - Psychoneuroendocrinology

This is the real practice.

If you fancy like having nice skin,

Looking fresh and young,

Welcome to the club because I do the same.

This practice isn't so much about rejuvenating.

And somehow it is.

My name is Patrick Christopher Eller and I'm your practice instructor for today.

We know that specific practices such as the loving kindness meditation support the genes.

Actually what they do is support the telomeres on top of the chromosomes to shorten in a much slower rate and the telomeres also are correlated to how fast we age and also how we age.

So with this little insight,

I invite you to do a little meditation with me.

One to be very kind towards yourself and to bring this kindness also into the world.

Not to make it right for everyone because kindness isn't political kindness but to support your well-being.

Because when you're well,

You can show up at your best for your projects,

Your friends,

Your colleagues,

Your beloved ones and yourself.

And then also for everything else that really really matters to you.

Let's start by having a deep breath in together.

Bringing attention on the breath and easing the tension of the body with each out breath.

More on time.

Bringing attention to the breath,

Exhale,

Ease the tension in the body.

Also with your next inhale identify if there are areas that you are still holding tension.

Maybe your fingers,

Your jaw,

Your chest and with the exhale give your best to ease the tension a little.

Now follow by repeating the upcoming sentences towards yourself.

May I be well.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be at peace.

And when you say those words feel how they expand from your heart to the rest of your body.

If it's helpful take your hand and pour it on your chest.

May I be well.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be at peace.

May I be well.

May I be healthy.

May I be happy.

May I be at peace.

And feel how it expands to everywhere within your body.

May I be fancy.

May I rejuvenate.

May I be vital.

May I be at ease.

Feel how it expands to everywhere within your body.

Now bring this feeling and this attention into your room,

Into your life.

Lower your hand and give a little thanks towards yourself.

And be well.

Find what works for you.

Thanks for participating.

My name is Patrick Christopher Eeler.
