This practice starts by deepening presence, then we will do a little imaginary visit into a valey where a river flows. To end this practice we will reflect upon the different states of water and send some wishes towards our selves. The wishes are inspired by the Metta meditation, a meditation that supports health, well-being, and vitality.

Welcome,

Excellent you pressed play.

That's the way to start.

My name is Patrick Christopher Eeler and I will lead you through this imagination practice.

You might start this practice at the beginning of your day.

Maybe you also had a rich,

Intense,

Maybe inspiring day.

So take a moment and arrive.

If it helps you,

Use your breath as an anchor to deepen your presence.

Also have a little check in,

A short body scan.

Is there any tension somewhere?

Maybe in the jar,

The fingers,

In the chest,

In the shoulders or in your toes?

And with the next exhale,

Try to see what happens if you give your best to ease this tension a little.

With the next three out breaths,

Ease the tension.

Let's begin.

Imagine a river,

Clear,

Beautiful water flowing in the valley.

The water always finds its way.

Now some kilometers further,

There are big stones in the way of the river and the water gets wilder and the water finds its way.

Some kilometers further,

There's a waterfall,

Gets louder and stronger.

The water finds its way.

Some kilometers further,

The sun is getting stronger and stronger.

Water starts to evaporate.

The river gets less and water finds its new way.

Some kilometers further,

There is rain starting,

Very strong and the river gets full again.

The water finds its way.

Some kilometers further,

The land is very dry and the water just gives itself to the dry earth,

To the dry soil,

Effortless.

The water finds its way.

The river is empty now.

The river is empty now.

Some kilometers further,

Clouds are passing by and snow starts to fall.

The water finds its own way.

As you find what works for you.

To end this imagination practice,

Take a deep breath with me and on the exhale,

Let every imagination that we just had just pass by.

Become fully present.

If it helps you,

Use your breath as an anchor.

Water has in every situation its own expression.

We're the same,

Always similar,

Never similar,

Sometimes flowing.

When the path gets root,

Water adapts.

When the path gets calm,

Water adapts.

When the path gets dry,

Water gives and if it's too dry to give,

It transforms its structure and gives for whoever is receivable.

It's never destructed.

It's always transformed.

Thank you for participating in this practice.

My name is Patrick Christopher Ehler.

To end this with a little practice,

Take the right hand and put it on your chest,

On your heart and send some gentle wishes.

May I do it my way.

May I be well.

May I do it my way.

May I be well.

Thank you for participating.

My name is Patrick Christopher Ehler.

Looking forward to see a review from you.

Also follow me here on Inceptimer because then you will see my new meditations coming up,

Self-reflections and also journaling practices and share it because sharing is caring.
