Most meditation asks you to add something. A focus, a mantra, a technique. This one subtracts. Fourteen minutes of open awareness, just noticing what's already happening. Sounds, breath, body, mind, mood. None of it requires your management. The instructions are minimal, the pauses are long, and there's no special state to reach. By halfway through, the edges of you soften and the field gets wider than the body. Good for experienced sitters who are tired of effortful technique, or for anyone who's ready to stop turning meditation into another performance. Best in the morning when the system is fresh, or any time you want to land in what's already here rather than chase what isn't.
