You might begin by gently closing your eyes and bringing your awareness inward and allow your breath to be your guide home to your body.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth as if releasing a quiet sigh of relief.
And let's do that again,
Inhale deeply,
Letting your chest and belly expand and exhale slowly melting the weight of the day.
Allow yourself to settle into your seat,
Into your body,
Into this moment.
Feel the support beneath you,
The steadiness of the ground.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now,
You can let go and simply be here.
Now begin to bring your awareness inward to everything that exists within the boundary of your skin,
This miraculous body,
This home.
What sensations are you aware of?
Notice any areas that feel warm or cool,
Tight or spacious,
Alive or quiet.
There's no need to change or fix anything,
Just noticing what's true in this moment.
You might sense subtle vibrations in your hands or feet,
A gentle hum beneath the surface.
This is your aliveness,
Your energy body beginning to speak.
Take another slow breath in and with your exhale,
Allow yourself to soften deeper into your seat.
Let gravity hold you,
Feel your weight resting into the earth.
Now sense not only what's happening inside your body but also the space around you,
The air touching your skin,
The sounds in the distance,
The unseen fields that your body moves within.
We live within a sea of energy,
A living breathing field that connects all things.
The energy inside you and the energy around you are not separate,
They're part of one movement of life.
Begin to imagine that the edges of your skin are softening,
That your awareness can move beyond your body like light expanding outward.
Feel into the room that you're in,
The stillness or the quiet hum of life.
Maybe you sense the presence of other beings,
People nearby,
Trees outside,
The wind moving,
The quiet rhythm of the world around you.
Everything is pulsing,
Vibrating,
Alive.
You are part of that pulse.
You might even imagine that you can see it as if every person,
Every tree,
Every living thing is surrounded by a gentle field of light,
A soft glow of life force energy.
Notice how that image makes you feel,
Perhaps more connected,
More at ease.
Now,
Slowly bring your awareness back to the space just inside your skin.
Sense the breath moving in your belly,
The rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the warmth of your hands,
The weight of your feet,
And then bring your awareness to the center line of your body,
Your energetic core running from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.
Imagine that this central channel is a column of light,
Steady and luminous,
The place where life energy flows through you.
As you inhale,
See or feel this light gently rising from the base of your spine up through the belly,
The chest,
The throat,
All the way to the crown.
And as you exhale,
Let that same light flow downward again from the crown through the heart and belly,
All the way to your seat and your roots in the earth.
And continue for a few breaths,
Rising with the inhale,
Grounding with the exhale,
A gentle current moving through the center of your being.
Now,
Along the core,
Imagine seven small spheres of light,
Your energy centers or chakras.
At the base of your spine,
A red glow of safety and belonging.
Below the navel,
An orange glow of creativity and flow.
At the solar plexus,
A yellow sun of power and confidence.
At the heart,
A green light of love and connection.
At the throat,
A blue light of truth and expression.
At the brow,
An indigo light of insight and intuition.
And at the crown,
A violet white light open to the vastness of life.
And let yourself sense or simply imagine these centers pulsing softly,
Each center breathing,
Each center alive.
No need to analyze or interpret,
Just greeting yourself as energy,
As light,
As vibration,
As breath.
Take a moment now to sense your whole field,
The energy within you and around you as one unified flow.
You might notice a feeling of expansion,
A sense of gentle tingling or simply more presence.
Whatever you feel is perfect.
And allow your body to rest in this awareness,
The knowing that you are not separate from life.
You are life.
Breathing,
Sensing and moving through form.
And now as we begin to come toward a close,
Bring your attention once more to your breath.
Feel the inhale nourishing you and the exhale grounding you.
Sense the steadiness of your body,
The sea beneath you,
The ground supporting you.
Let the energy you've awakened gently integrate,
Settling through every cell.

You can place a hand over your heart and whisper inwardly,
