Welcome.
This is your invitation to pause,
Just a few minutes to reconnect,
To reset and to return to peace.
So wherever you are right now,
Whether seated,
Standing or lying down,
Allow yourself this brief moment to turn inward.
If it feels safe,
You might softly close your eyes,
Or if you'd prefer,
Simply soften your gaze and let's begin by taking one deep nourishing breath in and slowly exhale,
Letting go.
Bring gentle awareness to your body.
Notice the points of contact,
Maybe your feet touching the ground,
Your back resting against a chair or surface,
Awareness of your hands,
Wherever they may be.
Without changing anything,
Simply observe how your body feels.
Allow yourself to soften just a little more with every exhale.
Unclench your jaw,
Drop your shoulders,
Relax your belly and feel yourself supported in this moment.
Now shift your full attention to your breath.
Notice the inhale and the exhale.
Feel how your breath moves in effortlessly and flows out naturally.
Begin to gently lengthen the exhale,
Inhale through the nose and exhale slowly through the mouth as if blowing out a candle.
Let the breath be smooth,
Steady and soft.
With each inhale,
Silently say,
I am here.
With each exhale,
Silently say,
I am at peace,
And repeat this rhythm a few more times at your own pace,
Inhale,
I am here,
Exhale,
I am at peace.
Let the simple act of breathing ground you fully in the present.
Take a moment to notice how you feel now,
Perhaps a little lighter,
A little more spacious,
A little more connected.
Know that this calm is always available to you,
No matter where you are or what's happening around you.
It's always just a few breaths away.
When you're ready,
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Roll your shoulders or stretch if that feels good,
And softly open your eyes,
Carrying this sense of peace with you into the rest of your day.
