Hey friends,
Welcome to this new day.
This is Padma Gordon and I wanted to offer you a morning gratitude meditation.
And I wanted to say a little bit about gratitude just to begin because gratitude is magnetic.
Gratitude is kind of what draws goodness to us.
It's like we offer it out and then it comes back in very magical and mysterious ways.
And we don't offer it to get anything back.
And very often good things come back because gratitude is a frequency.
Gratitude is an energetic frequency.
So like attracts like.
So what is the frequency that you want to move through your day with?
Do you want to have like an amazing day full of blessings,
Full of grace,
Full of Unexpected surprises.
Start it with gratitude.
Start it with a heart-based practice on gratitude,
Which is what I want to offer you right now.
I'm going to set my timer for five minutes and I'll guide you through this meditation and I'm just really happy to be here with you in this way.
All right,
So please begin by closing your eyes.
Breathing with closed eyes.
Breathing with closed eyes.
And just let yourself settle into this new day,
Into the freshness of the morning.
A chance for a new beginning.
Each day.
Is an invitation.
For a new beginning.
So let's breathe in the freshness of this day.
I'm letting it go.
Let's do that a few more times.
Allow the shoulders to melt down away from the ears.
Let's begin.
Offering some gratitude for being held.
So feel how in this moment you are held by your seat.
By your home.
And by the earth,
Way down deep.
Just feel this.
And breathe.
As you receive the experience of being held.
Exhale this.
Gratitude.
Gratitude for being held in this moment.
And then I would like you.
To really register that you are here.
You are here doing a morning gratitude practice.
So offer yourself some gratitude,
My friend.
Gratitude for showing up,
For taking the time.
And just notice what it's like to allow the warm light of your awareness to flow in.
Gratitude for yourself.
Gratitude because you're here right now.
Because you have made a conscious choice to show up for yourself.
Just really breathe it in deeply.
Just feel the goodness.
Of gratitude,
Opening to gratitude for yourself.
And one more piece.
See if you can be grateful for the goodness.
The untold goodness that is on its way to you.
Right now.
Just be grateful in advance.
For beautiful moments that will find you today.
Feeling the warmth.
Feeling the fullness in your heart.
And then just let's pause until the bell sounds.
Feeling what may have shifted.
In this practice.
Just take a little bit longer.
Luxuriate here.
Feel the resonance.
Feel the echoes of gratitude.
Of a brief.
Five-minute gratitude practice.
And then maybe placing a hand on your heart.
And again,
Thanking yourself.
For being present here.
Today,
Now.
And then as you're ready.
Let your eyes come open.
It feels so good to me to allow gratitude to circulate throughout my whole body and my whole being.
And I just wonder about your experience.
And how you might throughout your day.
Tap back into it.
I have a suggestion for you,
Which is set three timers to go off.
Throughout the day and then take one minute and pause.
And just feel some gratitude.
Gratitude for yourself,
Gratitude for being held,
Gratitude for the mysterious gifts that will present themselves to you,
That are presenting themselves to you as you move through your life.
And if you want,
You can sit for a few more minutes and just write down.
Just take like three minutes.
And write down everything you're grateful for,
Just for three minutes.
What are you grateful for?
Three minutes of your time.
You're worth it.
You're worth investing in.
You are worth investing in.
