So make yourself comfortable and let us begin.

Let us begin by closing the eyes.

Let them rest.

Let them rest into the beauty of this day,

Of this morning.

Make yourself comfortable and let us enjoy the silent beauty of this moment.

Let's breathe together.

Feeling how your breath rises and falls.

How the air expands and contracts in your lungs.

So I invite you.

I invite you to listen to these words,

To let them gently wash over you,

To let their nourishment seep in to the places where it needs to go on this beautiful,

Quiet morning.

I am grateful for morning solitude.

Do you too dip into that quiet time?

Do you sip those delectable moments before the rustle of feet and the hustle bustle of cars and crotches?

I love the whisper time.

I love the whisper time.

The moments where you can almost hear the blood flowing through your veins.

So listen.

Listen,

My dear.

Pay close attention and you too may hear these gentle,

Nearly imperceptible sounds.

The sounds of your own aliveness.

So take note.

Take note of those sacred moments where you can feel your heart beating and its sound seems as loud as a drum.

Do you know this?

Can you feel it now on this quiet morning?

See then the preciousness of the morning time,

The time before it all comes a-knocking.

Savor these moments,

The moments of drinking tea.

I love the warmth of vanilla tea upon my lips,

Its sweet taste and how it warms me on the inside all the way down to the tips of my toes.

I love this feeling in the quiet of the morning.

What do you love?

Take a moment and sense.

Sense into it.

Pause.

Pause and make space for what you love.

Maybe you love the way the light comes streaming in your window or the shadows cast by the clouds.

What do you treasure?

What do you treasure,

My friend?

For when you turn your attention to the things you love and the things you treasure,

You can savor them.

You can be held by them,

Filled by them.

And maybe as you sense what it is that you love,

A smile forms on your lips.

Maybe your heart opens a little bit wider.

So take a deep breath,

A deep,

Deep breath and let your body settle.

Let it relax even more fully.

Let it settle in on this quiet morning.

Settle into what you love.

I know that I love the feeling of my body relaxing,

The flesh softening beneath me.

I feel the nourishment of turning toward what I love,

Like the sound of pen moving on paper.

I love the sound of a branch tapping on the window and the rustle of leaves in the wind on an autumn day.

I'm grateful,

Grateful to notice the exquisite-ness of right now.

Grateful to see and feel the beauty.

I'm curious,

My friend,

Can you sense beauty?

Sense yourself.

Let your heart open.

I invite you to gently,

Gently open the door to your own heart.

Peek in on this quiet morning.

It's safe.

It's safe to open the door.

I know sometimes it can be scary to open,

To open the door to your beautiful heart,

To open the door to your beautiful heart and peek in.

And I wonder,

What do you see?

What do you see?

Can you see your own radiant self shining back at you through the eyes of your heart?

Take your time.

Journey in and in.

Go deeper into your heart on this quiet morning.

Perhaps you can imagine that you're walking along a softly forested path laden with pine needles and with each step their scent wafts up to tickle your nose.

Light softly filters through and you have entered this beautiful and mysterious world of your own heart.

Pause and breathe.

Open wider.

Open wider.

Behold your own majesty.

Yes,

Behold your own majesty.

Breathe and inhale the exquisite fragrance of your own being.

Feel its fullness.

Surrender.

Let it have you.

Let it hold you.

And rest here.

Rest here,

Dear friend.

You deserve a good rest,

Just like the weary traveler who's walked for miles and miles and has shoes that are worn so thin that their toes nearly poke through.

So please,

I invite you to come and sit.

Rest your bones.

Let yourself simply be.

You have arrived.

You are home.

Now,

My dear,

Take a nice full breath and make space to rest,

To feel how deeply you can rest into the quiet,

Into this beautiful quiet of the morning.

And as you rest,

Let yourself be grateful,

Grateful for the simplicity or the ease with which you are able to rest.

For this rest is always possible.

And in any moment that you might perhaps lose yourself in a dream of the past or a fantasy of the future.

You can always rest.

Return to this feeling of being home,

Of resting here.

It lives in you.

And you can relax into it just as you would relax into warm water,

Letting yourself be warmed and soothed.

Anything else than quiet but I really enjoyed the practice. More like a guided journey. I would have enjoyed more space to my own reflections if using as a meditation. Anyhow. A beautiful practice 🌸🧚🏼‍♀️
