Welcome,
Dear friend.
Let's take a few quiet moments to come home to something essential.
It's something that lives deep within you,
Even when it feels far away.
Your own self-love.
This isn't the loud,
Performative kind of love.
This is a quiet,
Steady love that says,
I've got you,
Even when things feel messy.
So,
Allow yourself to settle in.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
There's no right way to sit.
Just do what feels most supportive for you in this moment.
Very gently,
Allow your body to soften,
Little by little,
Allowing the shoulders to drop and the jaw to release.
Very gently,
Allow your breath to deepen.
Taking a slow breath in,
Exhale slowly and maybe let a sigh come out.
Breathing in and out with ease.
Just be yourself.
There's nothing to fix or change.
You don't need to be any way other than exactly as you are.
Often,
When life feels overwhelming or you feel like you're behind or not enough,
Your nervous system shifts into survival mode.
You might become anxious,
Scattered or tense,
And there's always a pathway back.
And self-love can be that path.
It begins with breath,
With the willingness to speak to yourself as you would someone you love.
Gently,
Kindly,
With care.
So,
I want to offer you a simple practice.
This is called the three-breath self-love reset.
So,
With breath one,
As you inhale,
Allow yourself to name something you love or appreciate about yourself.
It could be something small,
Like I love that I keep showing up,
I appreciate my tender heart,
Or I'm grateful for the way I care and show my love.
With breath two,
As you breathe in again,
Offer yourself a phrase of self-love.
Let it be tender.
For example,
May I love myself through this moment.
May I allow myself to be exactly as I am.
May I remember that I am a sacred,
Worthy being.
May I remember I am a sacred,
Worthy being.
With breath three,
Take a third breath and offer yourself generosity,
A loving gesture,
A little space,
A simple kindness.
For instance,
I give myself permission to rest.
I allow myself to soften.
I offer myself the love I so freely give to others.
So,
That's it,
Friends.
Three breaths,
Three gentle touches of self-love.
Not because you need fixing,
But because you deserve to be loved by the one who knows you best,
You.
So,
Just allow yourself to do this practice at any time,
Maybe in the morning,
Maybe when you pause for your lunch,
Or before you rest in the evening.
So,
Just to review,
The first breath,
It's something you love or appreciate about yourself.
I love that I keep showing up.
I love that I keep showing up.
And the second breath,
Offering yourself a phrase of self-love.
May I love myself through this moment.
May I love myself through this moment.
And the third breath is a breath of generosity.
May I allow myself to rest.
May I allow myself to rest.
So,
The more you do this practice,
The more peaceful you will feel,
One breath at a time.
So,
As we come to a close,
I invite you to take one more soft breath in.
And as you exhale,
Allow something inside you to relax,
To trust that you are safe,
You are held,
You are enough,
You are enough,
My friend.
And remember,
Self-love is not a destination,
It is a relationship.
It is your primary relationship with yourself that you are tending to right now.
So,
Take another breath and whisper,
I've got you.
I've got you.
You are loved.
And just notice,
Notice what happens inside.
I've got you.
You are loved.
So,
Thank you,
My friends.
Thank you for taking this time.
And you're welcome to return to this practice as often as you like the more you practice.
The more self-love will grow.
