Namaste.

This is a meditation for healing the ancestral timeline.

Find a comfortable place to sit and just check in for a moment with how you're sitting or lying down.

Are you fully supported and comfortable?

Just taking a few moments for you to decide your comfort and beginning to notice the breath.

As you inhale,

Noticing how the chest expands in all directions and the ribs begin to open,

Muscles in and around the ribs begin to stretch just ever so slightly.

Lungs expand on every inhalation,

Creating space and room for the heart to open.

And as the heart begins to open a little bit more with every inhalation,

Allowing yourself to arrive in the here and now with every exhalation.

Every inhalation creating spaciousness and every exhalation allowing you to arrive just here in this moment.

On your next inhalation notice the space and on your next exhalation allow your awareness to flow into that space and allow your imagination to become fluid and free.

Imagining yourself now on the edge of a woodland.

Notice how the light dapples through the trees,

Streaming through the leaves and the branches.

Notice the green moss on the earth and take a step feeling your bare feet,

Feeling the moss underfoot.

Notice how the light reflects on the moss as it grows up through the trees and the branches and the beautiful colours of greens and browns.

And take a breath and notice the smells.

Through the light you notice a small deer walking towards you.

Eyes of kindness stare into your own and you feel that kindness reflecting in your own heart.

You softly bow your head to meet the forehead of the deer as it approaches you.

Foreheads touching you can feel her breath on your chest.

Compassion radiates through her and you have this wonderful moment of attunement and safety.

You feel her gentleness as she turns away and you place your hand on her neck and walk with her every footstep you take together.

Notice that wonderful feeling of union and presence.

Feel the trees becoming a little more sparse as you enter into a clearing and you look up noticing the tops of the trees and the vastness of the sky above.

And as your gaze draws back down into the clearing you notice a small temple and standing at the doorway of the temple is a beautiful monk.

Eyes of kindness,

A smile radiating compassion and they gesture to you to come into the temple.

You feel the difference between the mossy grass and the cool steps.

Noticing the ornate door as you walk into a vast hall.

Windows of colour are at the top of the temple and wall hangings with ancient scripture hang on the walls.

One window is open and light streams forth onto an altar at the end of the hall.

Every step that you take you walk with reference and mindfulness.

And as you approach the altar there is a cushion you notice its colour.

Kneeling down on the cushion you look onto the altar there is one candle and it is lit.

There is a blank piece of paper and a pen.

The monk joins you on your left and just offers their presence.

You place your hands on your heart centre and close your inner eyes feeling into your heart.

And as you do without turning round you have the presence of your ancestors.

You feel their essence filling this great hall.

And you ask from your heart what would you have me surrender in this moment to support,

Clear and enlighten our timeline.

A word of feeling,

A sensation comes to the heart and mind.

You take the pen and you write it down.

You see the beauty of the lettering as you write down the word in wish.

You wish to surrender.

You fold the piece of paper and place it once again to your heart.

And there is a soft humming sound that rolls through the temple almost like the sound of om.

Can you feel the vibration subtly in your being?

The vibration of transformation and surrender.

You take the paper from your heart and hold it over the lit candle and watch as it catches flame.

You watch as it becomes soft grey ash that floats up and up and out towards the temple,

Out of the window and out over the horizon of your mind.

A feeling of calm and peace enters your being as you place your hands once again on your heart and mind.

And again you ask your ancestors,

What shall we welcome in for our forbearers?

What do we welcome into the here and now?

And again you pick up the pen and write the words so beautifully on the paper.

And this time you hand the piece of paper to the monk who folds it into the most beautiful and ornate bird,

Placing it back in your hand.

The monk leans forward and blows out the candle and gestures for you to stand.

As you stand and turn you see the great hall filled with your ancestors,

Smiles borne on their lips,

Love in their hearts and you feel that love radiating towards you like strands of light.

And you walk mindfully and gracefully back through the hall feeling whispers of love flow through you and around you,

Held and supported by this wonderful presence,

The essence of consciousness.

You step out into the beautiful light of the day and feeling movement in your hand,

A little bird singing its wonderful song,

Just Because.

And you watch as the bird flies up and up and out into the meadow of your heart.

And waiting for you on the edge of the woodland is your beautiful dear.

And as you turn to look for the monk there is no temple,

No monk,

Just the trees and the sky and the vastness and spaciousness.

You reach for the deer's neck,

Feeling your fingers running through its fur,

The warmth underneath your hand and the steady beat of its heart beating in time with your own.

And every step that you take you walk in union.

Light streams forth,

Guiding your way back to the meadow of your heart.

And as you begin to approach the meadow you notice just how many flowers of different colours and shapes,

The greens of the grasses and how majestic that looks against the vastness of the blue sky above.

Such beauty.

You turn four heads meeting together with your wonderful power animal.

The empowerment of gentleness,

Kindness and compassion radiates into every cell of your being.

A moment of surrender and a moment of renew.

You feel the breath warm on your heart and close your inner eyes and notice your own breath,

Breathing in,

Letting your heart in all directions,

Breathing out and softening,

Surrendering and arriving in the present moment.

And as I invite you to arrive in the here and now,

Softly open your eyes feeling good and feeling trust.

This was everything! I did this meditation outside on an unseasonably warm day. Right before I started, three deer walked through my yard, and a hawk flew overhead. I love deer and hawks. I was so pleased to have the connection with the deer and hawk in this meditation. I’ve always dreamed of petting a deer and holding a hawk in my hands. I ended this meditation with a massive smile and so much love, compassion and peace in my heart. This was the perfect medicine. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I love the ritual and ceremony of this journey. It was life-affirming to burn away a couple of core deficiency beliefs—the gray ash was lovely. 🙏

Lovely. Can you expand upon the meaning of the deer? I had two beautiful visions several months ago of having a mother a a dear and even saw a beautiful baby book with me as a little dear. Those two downloads are seared into my mind and always bring me peace. 🌹♥️🌹
