Welcome to this meditation practice.
This meditation practice is part of the meditation series around the boy,
The mole,
The fox and the horse by Charlie Maxey.
Wherever you are,
Wherever you're doing,
Find a comfortable position,
Whether that be seated on the floor with your legs crossed,
Sat on a chair with your feet grounded,
Kneeling or maybe you lay down.
Taking the gaze down or closing off the eyes and just noticing the natural inhalations and exhalations of your breath.
How does it feel to breathe?
Where is the breath traveling to within the body?
And noticing how you're feeling in this moment.
Today's practice is built upon the following.
I've learned how to be in the present.
How asked the boy.
I find a quiet spot and shut my eyes and I breathe.
That's good.
And then?
Then I focus.
What do you focus on?
Cake,
Said the mole.
And although in this practice we're not going to focus on cake,
We will make our breath into the cake and focus on the breath as we breathe deeply.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling completely.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
Inhaling.
Exhaling.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling completely.
Allowing our breath to help us in the present moment.
Allowing us to be here.
To be within our bodies.
To be within this moment.
Focusing on the breath allows us to focus on now.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling completely.
Inhale.
Exhaling.
When you're ready just working with Samarita practice of equal breathing.
Inhaling for 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhaling for 1,
2,
3,
4.
Inhale 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale for 1,
2,
3,
4.
Inhaling for 1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhaling for 1,
2,
3,
4.
And just working with this practice now.
Working with that equal inhales and exhales.
Breathing deeply.
Breathing into the body,
Feeling into this present moment.
Reminding yourself that you can always come back to your breath.
You can always find the present within your breath.
Letting go of the count.
Taking a deep final inhale.
And on the exhale sighing it out through the mouth.
Inhaling deeply.
And sighing it out on the exhale.
Thank you for joining me today.
I'm sending you all my love and love.
Remembering to be present with our breath.
Namaste.
