Hello and welcome to open-hearted meditation.

It's a journey into our heart,

Into the healing connection of cultivating unconditional love.

Let's start this meditation by finding a comfortable sitting position.

It can be on the floor,

On a cushion,

On a chair.

If you're sitting in a chair,

Sit a little closer to the edge.

So that in whatever position you're in,

It's easy for your body to relax and to be upright.

Just taking a moment to arrive.

Arriving in our body.

Feeling our bodies settle in to whatever position is best for us.

Just taking some slow,

Deep breaths.

As you exhale,

Have a feeling of letting go.

The theme of this meditation will be on letting go.

So every time you exhale,

Feel yourself softening.

Letting go of anything you're holding on to.

Any tension.

Any worry.

And as you let go,

Feel yourself sinking into the ground or the cushion or the chair you're on.

Feeling yourself very stable,

Very supported,

Very grounded.

You can also feel the crown of your head gently stretching up towards the sky.

So you feel tall,

Your torso is erect,

Your head,

Your neck,

Back are all in line.

So it's okay to adjust your sitting position.

If your legs start to get tired or fall asleep,

It's okay to stretch or stretch your back.

Most important thing is to become friends with your body.

Letting go of the feeling of any feeling of rigidity,

Of forceness.

Letting your body just feel natural.

Feel the act of just sitting here being very natural.

Give space for your body to enjoy this practice.

So if your back gets a little stiff,

Go ahead and move a little.

Shift and adjust.

If any part of your body feels uncomfortable,

Just settle in a little more.

Give your body permission just to be how it is.

So letting go even more.

Begin to let go of your breath even.

Just allow it to be slow and light.

Feeling what's underneath that breath.

Feeling into the body's natural ability to breathe on its own.

You can scan your body and see if there's any tension in your shoulders,

In your torso,

Or in your jaw.

Imagine that tension melting away.

Like a fist uncurling,

Just letting go,

Opening.

Feel the muscles softening and opening.

Let go and feel what's behind all that tension.

Feel the naturalness of your body.

The perfection of your body.

All of your organs and nervous system.

Everything operating so seamlessly.

Just one more minute focusing on your body of letting go.

Feeling that love that exists in your body.

The love that your body has for being alive.

As you relax more,

Start to feel your heart.

Bring your awareness to your heart,

Your heart center.

Allow your heart to soften.

And now letting go of any tension in your heart.

Like warm water melting ice.

Imagine any tension or anxiety in the heart begin to melt away.

Feel the worry and stress that might be in your heart just letting go.

As your breath becomes even slower and lighter,

Imagine your heart becoming softer.

As you let go of this tension in your heart,

You can imagine and feel your heart begin to open more,

To expand.

When we feel worry or fear,

Our heart tends to close up and as those feelings dissolve,

The heart opens again.

Can begin to connect.

Connecting to your body,

Connecting to the air and the nature around you.

Your heart naturally connecting to the earth.

Very gently,

Very slowly allowing the heart to continue to open and expand.

You can even ask your heart what it needs to let go of.

And you can ask your heart what it needs to let go of.

To let go of.

And you can ask your heart for help in letting go of that.

Becoming friends with your heart.

You can imagine there's a light shining from your heart.

As your heart relaxes and opens,

As you let go and the heart softens,

This light gets brighter and brighter.

Sometimes it cannot feel safe to let go of these feelings of tension or worry.

We might lose some control of a situation,

But for now just try to let go even more.

To feel what is beneath all that.

Let go and feel the love that's in your heart.

Beneath all that feeling of tension or anxiety or stress.

As an unlimited source of love.

Letting your breath continue to be slow and light and gently allowing the heart to naturally open,

To soften and expand.

Let that love in your heart naturally dissolve the tension or the worry.

Feeling your heart full of love.

And then for one more minute keep allowing the heart to let go and open.

Feeling that love that's available the more you can let go.

And relaxing into that love.

And as your heart continues to expand connecting with the earth and with nature,

Continues to expand upward and outward,

Connecting with the whole universe.

Connecting with the sky and our solar system,

Our galaxy.

Now it's time to let go of any feelings of smallness.

Allow yourself to expand.

Letting go of your body,

Letting go of your heart.

Allowing yourself to just feel merged with the whole universe.

Like you are now this big body of love.

So letting go even more,

Letting go of your normal life,

Letting go of the room you're in.

And relaxing into a feeling of expansion and connection.

And as you let go more and more,

Try to feel and connect with that love that's beneath the letting go.

Unconditional love of the whole universe.

Feel yourself becoming one with that love.

Let go and feel yourself relaxing into unconditional love.

Limitless love.

Universal love.

You can even ask that love,

Ask the universe for help in letting go even more.

Becoming friends with the universe.

Becoming friends with the universe.

Becoming friends with the universe.

As you let go even more,

You can feel yourself returning to a feeling of oneness.

In just one more minute,

Allow yourself to rest in that feeling of oneness.

Relax into that limitless,

Unconditional love.

Relax into that limitless,

Unconditional love.

And then very gently,

Very gradually,

Coming back from that big expansion and now starting to turn your attention to your normal life.

Begin to be curious about letting go.

Letting go of things in your normal life.

You can feel yourself letting go of any conflict you might be engaged in or letting go of any worry over a project.

Letting go of difficult feelings.

Letting go of relationship struggles.

Just be curious about the things you're holding on to tightly in your life that could benefit from letting go.

As you imagine yourself letting go,

You can see yourself trusting in the love that's beneath everything in your life.

Letting go and settling into the love in your body,

The love in your heart,

The love in the whole universe flowing through your life.

You can see yourself letting things happen naturally.

You can also imagine letting go of limited ways of thinking.

Or limited ways of being.

You can feel yourself settling into and relaxing into the fullness of who you are.

Feeling your body and your life full of energy,

Full of love.

Becoming friends with your life.

And for just one more minute,

Keep allowing the feeling of letting go of whatever it needs to let go of in your life.

Letting go of any resistance,

Any resistance to letting love flow through you.

You can imagine this free flow of energy now,

Unconditional love,

Flowing through you and from you.

Flowing into you from the universe,

From nature.

Let yourself relax into that love of letting go.

Trusting in yourself,

Trusting in the universe,

Trusting in your life.

And now bringing your attention back to your physical body,

Beginning to take some deeper breaths,

Returning back to the room you're in,

Returning back to your body.

And whenever you're ready to open your eyes and remember that feeling of letting go.

Have an intention to let go and let more love into your life,

Into your body,

Into your heart.

I realized during this meditation I am holding so much, so much fear, anger, anxiety and it was difficult to free my mind from my attachments to these feelings.
