Hello,
And welcome to today's session designed for deep focus.
For today's session,
Bring your attention to one spot at eye level.
It can be a spot on the wall or an object in front of you.
Just ensuring it's a distance that feels comfortable and does not strain your eyes.
Focus on this spot as if nothing else matters.
Take a deep breath in,
And on the exhale,
Pour more awareness into this spot.
Again,
Deep breath in,
And exhaling more and more awareness into this spot.
One last time,
Deep breath in,
And exhaling to focus all of your energy and awareness into this spot.
Good work.
As your breathing returns to normal and your gaze continues to hone in on that spot,
Allow the very edges of your gaze to blur,
Concentrating all the clarity to the center.
As the edges blur,
Everything else begins to fade into the background.
If at any point you find any part of you wandering,
Let my voice bring you back.
As you fade into this spot,
Maybe you notice you don't have to blink much,
That enough moisture comes naturally to your eyes.
Maybe you even notice parts of your body beginning to relax.
Your shoulders unwinding,
Your neck loosening,
Your jaw beginning to get heavy,
Your hands and feet melting,
Releasing any tensions,
Tensions you didn't even know you had.
As you breathe,
Deepen this focus,
Allowing it to unfold within you.
As your eyes continue to focus on that spot,
I'll state some focus words you can shift into,
With each word pour all of your awareness into it.
Focus.
Clarity.
Attentive.
Engaged.
Committed.
Maybe you can get a sense of movement and energy happening around you.
Yet the more you breathe and focus on that spot,
The more you drop in.
No matter what happens out there,
You're honed in,
In here,
With me.
I'll state some affirmations you can repeat silently or aloud to deepen this focus.
My attention is steady and centered.
I remain engaged with my responsibilities.
I am fully present with each task at hand.
I prioritize my tasks and manage my time with ease.
I navigate challenges with full awareness.
I quiet my mind and deepen my focus.
Take a deep breath in,
Amplifying this state.
And on the exhale,
Allow for your eyes to close,
Releasing your gaze and anchoring this state into the eyes,
Into the mind,
Into the body.
Do a scan from head to toe,
Noticing what is different.
From this place of focus,
How will you be engaging with yourself,
Others,
And the world today?
Notice with what energy you'll be walking into spaces today.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes to a focused,
Attentive,
Clear-eyed,
Calm-minded version of yourself.
Have a great day.
