Hello and welcome to this bedtime session where we tuck you into a deep,
Restorative slumber for recovery and recharge.
If you've been struggling to fall asleep or stay asleep,
Have too much on your mind,
Or just need a small pick-me-up nap,
This session is for you.
To begin,
Allow for your eyes to close and simply notice the sleepiness already in your body.
Maybe you can notice how heavy your eyelids are,
Taking note of how much you've seen,
Felt,
Experienced today.
Maybe you can feel a tiredness beginning to relax your muscles.
Maybe your brain already feels like it's ready to turn off,
To go dormant,
And enjoy a full system update while you rest.
Maybe a part of you is aware of just how good it will feel to power down and enjoy a cleansing and rejuvenating rest.
Start to deepen your breath.
Pulling in slow inhales,
Welcoming the deepest sleep.
And exhale,
Exhaling away your day.
Another big breath in,
Opening up your mind and body to a fulfilling rest.
And exhaling your day far off into the background.
One last time,
Big breath in,
Readying yourself for the steep sleep ahead.
And exhaling,
Cleansing yourself of your day.
Watching it drift off and blur into the background.
Notice how everything else drifts so far off into the background,
Dissolving completely.
Maybe a part of you knows that every breath you take only causes you to become more and more relaxed,
More and more sleepy.
And naturally,
You find yourself sinking deeper into it.
Letting your body lead you downstream.
Your body starts to follow the natural current of rest.
This time is reserved for rest.
There is nothing you need to do,
No one you need to talk to.
In this moment,
You are free to sleep.
You are safe and protected for sleep.
The only place you are needed is right here.
Tucked under the covers,
Breathing deeply and dozing off.
Your body naturally knows what to do.
Your body guides you back each night to a state of balance.
Your nervous system regulates and recalibrates to peace and ease.
A full night of deep slumber and all its benefits awaits you.
Rather than rushing,
You find yourself soaking up every moment leading you to sleep.
Rather than forcing,
You start to understand how effortless falling asleep can be.
You move slowly,
Knowing that deep rest is so delicious and does you a world of good.
Good dreams flutter on your eyelids as your imagination unfolds.
I'll stay with you a while in quiet as you enjoy sleep's natural unfolding.
Good night.
