All you have to do is follow my gentle suggestions and give yourself permission to open up to the levels of relaxation here for you tonight.
Take a moment to nestle deeper into your covers,
Getting comfortable as we bring the night to a close,
To a quick reflection,
Scanning your day from start to finish.
How was your day today?
As you set your day aside,
What kind of sleep are you wanting to enjoy tonight?
Set any intentions for what that kind of sleep would look and feel like.
How would this kind of deep and fulfilling sleep benefit you?
Good.
Allow for your eyes to open if they're not already,
And let your gaze be soft and blurry.
In just a moment,
I'll count you down from 5 to 1,
And when I get to 1,
Your eyes will close down,
And you'll start the process into sleep.

Focusing on your eyes being soft,
Droopy,
Drowsy,
And sleepy.

Being here now,
In the present moment,
There's nowhere else you need to be.

Open and ready to ease into a deep and fulfilling sleep.

Taking a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely,
And on 1,
Allowing for your eyes to close down,
Just letting go.
Great work.
Just as your eyes close,
Close yourself off to the world.
Coming away from the day,
The week,
The month,
The year.
Coming away from who you have to be,
What you've had to do.
Coming away from even how you define yourself.
Setting everything aside to just exist in this space.
Notice how much lighter you feel already,
How much more room you have to breathe.
And return your attention to the back of your eyelids,
Noticing how they are just so heavy,
So soft and relaxed.
They simply can't be bothered with.
Returning your attention to the back of your eyelids,
Still noticing how they're so soft,
So heavy,
So relaxed that they simply can't be bothered with.
And when you notice that they're just so soft,
So heavy,
And relaxed that they simply can't be bothered with,
You can stop trying and go three times deeper.
Three times more relaxed.
Good work.
Now picture yourself in an elevator with three levels.
Level A,
B,
And C.
A part of you knows that each level will cause you to ease into deeper states of relaxation,
With level C being the basement of relaxation today.
Naturally,
You step into the elevator and push the button level A.
You take a deep breath in and on the exhale,
Sinking deeper and deeper,
More and more relaxed to level A.
You reach out and touch the button level B.
You take another deep breath in and on the exhale,
Going deeper and deeper,
More and more relaxed to level B.
And lastly,
You reach out and touch the button level C.
You take a deep breath in and on the exhale,
Going deeper and deeper,
More and more relaxed to level C.
As the doors of the elevator open up to level C,
The first thing you notice is a breeze brushing over the bridge of your nose and cheekbones.
It brushes over your collarbones and knuckles and brings with it the scent of sea salt.
You take a deep breath in,
Just noticing how delicious this natural scent is.
In this space,
You can also hear the sounds of birds,
Of seagulls hovering in the air,
Of waves crashing along the shore,
Of grains of sand rolling about.
And as you look around in this space,
You notice first and foremost a full moon on the horizon.
It's big and bright and yellow.
You can see the reflection of the moon in the ocean here.
And you can even see as the waves crash,
It generates foam which crackles and pops.
Naturally,
You take a step into this space with the sand beneath your feet,
Feeling the grit of it.
And you see a picnic blanket perfectly placed in the sand.
Naturally,
You take another step,
Feeling called by this picnic blanket.
You take your time,
One step in front of the other,
Making your way over.
And when you reach it,
You take a seat fully landing.
Anything you've been carrying on your shoulders,
On your hands,
On your hips,
Fall away into the sand,
Naturally being absorbed by the beach.
The moon comes down to greet you,
Sending waves of relaxation to the crown of your head.
These waves of relaxation send calm and peace to the crown of your head.
The moon continues as it never stops sending waves of relaxation deep into the muscles of the forehead,
Into the eyebrows,
Pooling into the eyes,
Massaging out the temples,
Sending waves of relaxation down the back of the head,
Down over the bridge of the nose,
Into the cheeks,
Into the jaw and the ears,
Coating the lips,
The teeth,
The tongue,
Flowing over the chin,
Into the neck,
The muscles of the back of the neck,
Coating the vocal cords in deep relaxation.
The moon continues sending waves of relaxation to the muscles of the shoulders here,
Wringing them out like a sponge,
Waves of relaxation down each notch of the spine,
Down the shoulders,
Massaging out the muscles of the chest,
Coating the heart and the lungs,
Flowing down the side body,
Deep into the soft tissues of the stomach and the gentle organs here,
Sending waves of relaxation to the muscles of the hips and the lower back,
Down the arms,
Into the wrists and hands,
Waves of relaxation massaging out the hip,
The glutes,
The fronts and backs of the thighs,
The knees,
The shins and calves,
Down into the ankles,
Down,
Down into the feet,
Out every single toe.
And as the moon sends waves of relaxation from head,
Toe,
Naturally you open up to it,
Receiving its full benefits.
Take a moment to receive any messages the moon has for you today,
And it's here that your subconscious mind is open and receptive to powerful and positive affirmations that naturally enrich your reality.
You can repeat these affirmations silently or aloud,
Noticing how they double in their resonance.
Every breath brings me closer to a restful night's sleep.
My body is relaxed and my mind is calm.
I am safe,
Soft,
Peaceful and protected.
Sleep comes to me easily,
And I follow the natural guidance of my body.
I trust in my body's ability to restore and renew itself as I sleep.
Every night,
My sleep becomes deeper,
More restful and more fulfilling.
