
Healing Energy Flow
Establish a pattern of energy flow to bring much needed healing to the body using breath and visualization. Feel the energy of the earth flow through the body from feet to head. And guide that energy back into the earth with loving kindness.
Transcript
Welcome.
In this meditation we will establish a pattern of energy flow from the feet to the head which will bring much needed healing energy to the body.
Energy knows where to go.
I will offer up some suggestions on how to get energy to flow and then guide you through the pattern.
So let's begin.
Make yourself comfortable either seated or lying down.
Close your eyes.
Begin to breathe deeply in through the nose and out through the nose.
Anytime you're guided to breathe,
If it's easier for you to breathe in and out through the mouth,
Then I offer that as a suggestion.
Begin to slow the breath down,
Allowing your exhalation to be longer than your inhalation.
Begin to relax the skin at your forehead.
Relax the eyes into their sockets.
Let the top of your ears tip back so that your chin lifts a little further away from your chest and you can fully relax the jaw,
Letting the tongue release from the roof of the mouth.
Feel the back of the head heavy.
Let go of tension in your neck,
In your shoulders,
The arms feel heavy.
Relax the hands,
Fingers,
Thumbs and allow your entire back to relax.
Legs are heavy,
Legs are heavy.
Bring your awareness to your feet and imagine that you're standing barefoot on the earth.
See yourself standing either on the grass or in the sand.
Feel the feet connecting to the earth.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Release the breath and drop your energy low into your body,
Down into the feet.
Take another deep breath in and now move your energy from the top of your spine down and off your tailbone and into the earth.
Do that a few more times,
Breathing in and moving the energy from the top of your spine,
Off your tailbone and into the earth,
Creating a grounding wire into the earth.
And as you exhale and drop that energy from the tailbone into the earth,
You feel a slight pull of gravity down through your legs and into your feet and into the earth.
Breathing in and as you exhale,
Let go of your thoughts and concerns,
Release any energy that's not yours down through this grounding wire,
Through your feet and into the earth.
Feel the earth below the soles of the feet,
Imagining the colour brown.
And now as you breathe in,
Breathe that energy from the earth into your right leg,
From your foot to your knee.
Draw the earth's energy up the right foot to the right knee.
Exhale as you draw it up from the earth.
When you exhale,
You feel the energy in your right knee.
Continue to draw that energy from the earth into your right foot to your right knee.
Feel it pulsing,
Feel it flowing,
Imagining the colour.
And now that energy from the earth goes from the right knee to the right hip.
And you feel that energy coming from the earth pulsing right knee to right hip,
Imagining a colour,
Sensing the energy,
Feeling the energy,
Pulsing that energy.
And your awareness is at the earth once again,
The colour is brown,
An earthy brown.
And now as you inhale,
The energy from the earth comes up the left leg from the sole of the foot to the left knee.
And with each breath,
You draw more energy from the earth through the sole of your foot up to your left knee.
And you can feel the energy pulling up.
You can sense it,
You can imagine it,
You can give it a colour.
Now the energy in your left knee goes to the left hip,
Left knee to your left hip.
And you allow that energy to flow and you feel it and you sense it and you move it with the breath,
Inhaling to pull that energy up.
And even though you're focusing on your left knee to left hip,
You know that energy is coming from the earth through the sole of the foot.
And now from both hips,
That energy pulls up both legs into your hips to your navel.
Feel that energy flowing from both hips to your navel.
And you can inhale that energy up through the soles of the feet and feel it moving more from your hips to your navel,
Hips to navel.
And now from the navel up into the heart,
Flow that energy into your energetic heart,
Navel to heart.
And that energy is still coming from the earth,
But you're feeling it,
Focusing it,
Flowing it from navel to heart centre.
Now from your heart centre over to your right shoulder,
Feel that energy flow,
Heart centre,
Right shoulder,
Pulsing,
Imagining,
Feeling,
Sensing,
Moving,
Flowing with each breath.
And now from your right shoulder all the way down into your right hand,
Down your right arm,
Right shoulder to right hand,
Feel that energy flowing freely,
Moving it with the breath,
Moving it with your imagination,
Sensing it,
Feeling it flow.
And now the awareness is at the energetic heart and the navel and you're flowing that energy from the earth at the legs,
Hips,
Navel to heart,
Navel to heart,
Navel to heart.
And now from your energetic heart over to your left shoulder,
Bringing that energy from the heart to the left shoulder,
Moving it with the breath,
Feeling it,
Sensing it,
Imagining it flowing.
And now from your left shoulder down into your left hand,
Flow that energy down your left arm,
Shoulder to hand,
Left side,
Left shoulder,
Left hand.
And now with your awareness at your energetic heart,
You're going to draw a heart on your torso.
So draw that energy up with an inhale from your heart to your shoulders,
Down your arms,
To your navel.
And your next inhale go from navel to heart out the top of the head and draw one big heart out the top of your head around your right and left side down into the earth.
From your navel inhale up all the way up to the top of the head.
And then as you exhale draw that heart down so that the tip of the heart,
The bottom of the heart goes right into the earth.
Two more times,
Breathing in,
Drawing a big heart,
Grounding down into the earth.
One more time.
And just stay with that energy flowing.
Just for a few more breaths feel the pulse of that energy flowing in every cell of your body,
Through every vein,
Every nerve.
Feel it in your bones,
In your skin,
Feel it flowing.
Now let a smile come to your face.
Feel your feet upon the earth,
Feel your body,
Feel your body,
Feel your body on the surface of whatever it is you're resting on.
Be aware of the room around you.
Begin to see that room.
Begin to bring your awareness fully back into your body,
Wiggling the toes,
Wiggling the hips,
Moving the shoulders,
Wiggle your fingers,
Rock your head from side to side,
Lifting your chin up and down as if you're saying yes and say yes to returning fully into your complete wholeness.
When you're ready,
You can slowly blink your eyes open.
Our meditation is now complete.
