Inner Child Shamanic Journey

Hello and welcome to this guided shamanic meditation journey for connecting in with your inner child.

This journey takes about an hour and we go quite deep during the process.

So I highly recommend that you make sure you switch off all of your devices and make sure you won't be interrupted by anyone or by any phone calls or messages during the next hour because it's really important to give yourself this space to go really deep on this journey.

You you you you now if you're not already I'd like you to make yourself very comfortable so you may want to lie on the floor put your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your belly get as comfortable as possible maybe put a pillow under your head and then take a long slow deep breath in feel the breath filling your chest filling your diaphragm belly raised hold the breath and then take a very long slow deep exhale take another inhale breathing in filling the chest filling the diaphragm filling the belly rise holding the breath remembering our mantra I am love I am love I am love and then slowly releasing the breath for a long exhale and letting your breath return to normal we're gonna take a journey now into the forest together imagine that you are I am a green lush forest with tall birch trees white flaky trunks beautiful green and yellow leaves all around you in the middle of the forest there is a path a grassy path the light shines in the sunlight shines in on the path scattered on the path our little white stones the weather is warm it is summer the birds are singing there is a beautiful feeling of happiness of peace in this forest and you're walking calmly happily you have a smile on your face you have a smile in your heart as you walk you feel the grass under your feet you feel a little white stone and you start to feel so happy that you start to skip along dancing through the forest joyfully like a little child the air caressing your cheeks the insects making noises crickets these keep walking along the path following the green deeper deeper deeper into the forest singing above you in the trees they sound so happy joyful like knocking on the woods you're not sure what it is or where it comes from but you are fascinated it sounds ancient like coming from another time a place and a time that is not now and ancient far away long ago time you follow this grappling this knocking on wood you start to run because you're so happy Wow it's a beautiful sound into the forest into this magical place deeper into nature deeper into peace deeper into your very own heart you're running now you're so excited you want to see if there are some people that are playing these drums knocking on this wood full of energy you feel like you're a child again joyful carefree excited happy you run as you run you see the lights open up in front of you becomes much much brighter you can see there's a clearing ahead you can just make out a big space of grass ahead and the trees are parting you keep running you keep running filling the stones under your feet doesn't hurt at all to run across the stones because you're so joyful and slowly suddenly you arrive in a big clearing deep in the forest it's a perfectly round clearing ringed by trees the same birch trees tall birch trees with green and yellow leaves and grass thick grass covering the whole clearing and you see that in the middle it seems to be that there's a ring of people sitting in a circle they are wearing it looks like it seems like they are the ones making this knocking sound slowly you walk over to them fascinated as you get nearer an old lady stands up she sees you she turns around she smiles at you she's very old she looks at least a hundred crinkly crinkly skin gray long hair falling down either side of her she reaches out her hands towards you and gestures for you to come and join the circle you smile and you walk towards her and she smiles and as you approach the circle she starts to dance with you she jumps from her left foot to her right all right to the left dancing a little dance slowly another member of the circle gets up an old man also with long gray hair he stands up and he joins you you are now dancing in a circle of three the old lady winks at you and you both all of all three of you go and join the full circle and suddenly everybody gets up in the circle all different ages about 20 people and all start to dance this dance left right left right left right left right left right left right moving to the rhythm you don't know what you're doing you don't know how you got here but you are so happy you are so joyful all the people dancing in the ring now they start to sing in a very strange tone you have never heard before you the ladies still next to you the beautiful lady with the shining eyes and the long gray hair she's sparkling she's holding a hand as you dance still left right left right left right left suddenly she looks at you and she points over to the other side of the circle you look over and you haven't noticed but you see a small child there the only small child in this whole group you notice something about the small child they look strangely familiar suddenly you realize it's you it's you from when you are five years old somehow your five-year-old self is dancing here in the forest with your new friends and you the flash of recognition the lady next to you sees and she gives you her biggest brightest smile ever she has missing teeth but she is so beautiful because she is shining the warmth of love direct from her heart to you she knows that this little five-year-old child is you and she is happy that you have come to meet yourself here in the forest in this clearing in this dance you slowly the dancing the singing comes to an end all of the old and young people come together in the middle of the circle with you and with the small child that is the five-year-old you and you enjoy a huge hug together joyfully joining our all smiling people smiling heart you feel embraced you feel loved you feel loving you feel open-hearted you feel happy you feel blessed to be here in this incredible forest with these beautiful people who speak a language you don't understand sing songs you have never heard but at the same time you feel deeply connected you feel love you feel joyful slowly the circle widens and you all come slowly to sit down everybody sits down and then the lady with the long gray hair next to you turns to you and gestures for you to stand up you stand up you're only one standing now it is midday the Sun is warm there are some butterflies flying above the circle you suddenly notice them out of the corner of your eye the people start to hum a low hum and the lady with the beautiful shining gray hair and the sparkling eyes and the wrinkly crinkly skin on her face gestures for you to move into the middle of the circle and as you do you see the small five-year-old child which is used as a child stand up and move towards you this child you is so gleefully happy to see you here they can't believe that it's them as a grown-up you slowly move to the circle into the center of the circle together and as you reach the center and feel the Sun in the back of your neck you feel the grass under your feet you feel the warm breeze you look over at the perfect circle of trees around you and then you look down and you gaze at this wondrous beautiful young child and they gaze back at you you see the innocence of you as a five-year-old child you see your beauty you see your absolute wonder and excitement at life you see your pure heart you see love and you feel love and as you do you slowly bend down you come onto your knees so that you can meet your child self your five-year-old self at the same level you ask that child self if there is anything they would like to say to you and you smile as your little child smiles he or she feels so happy and so welcomed that you are having this conversation with them that you want to know what they have to say to you now you as your adult self your little child smiles mischievously and runs a little ring around you a little dance of joy before they hug you and they whisper something in your ear only I do know what this little child has to tell you you you you slowly everyone in the circle stands up they all gaze at you one by one these beautiful ancient people look at you holding your gaze one by one as they go around the circle you hold the gaze of each one noticing a beautiful individuality connecting with their heart you go around the circle you continue around the circle looking in these beautiful grey green eyes of these brown skinned people smiling at you each one holding your gaze holding you in loving awareness slowly coming around now gazing at an old man long flowing curly hair a young man a woman beside him perhaps his wife an older man next to you and then back to you you all hold hands and then the circle to solve and the lady points towards the path out of the clearing and you know it's time to continue on your way you release your hand and you turn towards the path the exit pass out of the clearing continues the forest continues the trees getting a little faster now as you're going up you're getting into country a bit higher vegetation is changing there's some thicker trees a lot of undergrowth and you hear the crickets honey in the bushes next to you as you walk along the grass upon continuing this journey you hear the birds again accompanying you on your way they feel like they are talking to you in their own language you start running down the path it's not a grassy path anymore covered with bark and there are steps you start skipping running down the steps you hear the rustle of animals in the undergrowth you're not sure who they are what they are no sounding friendly you keep running running running you are getting tired but you you keep going and you notice that suddenly the vegetation has changed again you're coming into a grove of fandoms green tall stocks on both sides of the path it's about two meters high and the ground is also changing it's becoming a bit more sandy you wonder what is waiting for you on the other side of this bamboo and then you hear a bell in the distance you it sounds like it's calling to you in some way you move towards it there's a path that goes off to the left going downhill through the bamboo follow this path follow the belt the bamboo seems to be getting thicker and the path a little thinner and you keep going you're not afraid you're following love you know you are you're following your heart you're following your truth a light rain starts falling it's a summer rain it's a warm rain and suddenly you find yourself in another clearing this time a sandy clearing in the middle of the bamboo and in the middle of the clearing there's a house on stilts a tall house made from gray wood looks like it's two or three stories it's quite a grand house you feel like you're meant to go there and so you walk up towards the house and you walk up the stairs you knock on the door it's a big ornate carved or with a brass handle the door slowly creaks open and there is a young woman with long black hair and gray eyes similar color to the people that you met in the other clearing she smiles at you the smile is welcoming she doesn't say anything but she ushers you in she takes you into a big room where there are cushions on the floor there are some other people in the room sitting chatting taking tea one of the ladies sitting in one corner of the room taking tea stands up and comes over to you smiling she also has long dark hair and she has on a strange pinafore type outfit gray she looks very elegant she has a calm presence she ushers you over to her small group where they are having a tea ceremony there are four people there this lady a man who looks about her age also dressed in gray lights cotton clothes smiling then a young boy of about ten who has brown hair and is wearing shorts t-shirt cross and next to him you look and you suddenly see that it's you as a ten-year-old you're amazed first you met your five-year-old self now here you are as a ten-year-old you're sitting next to yourself as a ten-year-old ten-year-old you gazes at you in recognition a bright sparkly smile their face and jumps up and comes and gives you a huge hug everyone smiles and the lady next to you gives you a cup of tea when ten-year-old you sits down next to you and they hold your hand you have a sip of the tea and then you place it down in front of you everyone else has a tea in front of them you hold hands with your ten-year-old self to your right the lady who greeted you to your left the young man next to her and then the small boy next to in between the ten-year-old you and the young man you all close your eyes and you ask ten-year-old you if there is anything that they would like to tell you right now that you are here for them to listen you're so curious and so excited as to what they may have to say you wait and then ten-year-old you sitting next to you steps up and whispers in your ear what they would like to tell you all the others remain quiet with their eyes closed you listen you you you say thank you ten-year-old you is so happy to have had this opportunity that's so happy nice it back down next to you after they have told you another round of tea is poured by the elegant lady while she whispers some words of ceremony over the team may you be well she says may you be happy may you be at peace so you know that you are love may you know that you are at home may you know that you are always at home in your own heart and you can always come and take you you hear a knocking the lady next to you looks at you and says but it's for you it's time for you to go there is someone waiting for you at the door so you get up you thank all the people you thank your ten-year-old self you say goodbye and you go towards the door you open the door and they're waiting for you is the old lady from the clearing with a long gray hair a wrinkly face her beautiful brown skin she smiles at you she reaches out her hand you take it and you walk down the stairs with her at the bottom of the stairs is a white horse and a black horse the white horse is for you she helps you to get your feet into the stirrups and to climb on you don't even know if you can ride this horse but you feel that you must that this is your journey the lady smiles perhaps the horse shakes his mane and she quickly mounts the black horse with an amazing dexterity for a woman her age she grabs the reins riding through the forest down the hill it's getting darker slowly it's coming to evening time you start to canter and then your horse slows down it's very sweaty I've been riding for quite some time the lady in front of you on her black horse with her long gray hair streaming looks around smiles at you you're going through grasslands now and you can see the beach the sea not far away you're on a wide sandy road going through grasslands there's some cattle grazing on either side of you you're excited and you wonder who you might meet here in this Beach you take a deep breath in your hand on your heart holding the breath feel your heart open feel your belly rise and then you release the breath you keep riding slowly slowing down to a drought now and then you get to a clearing behind the beach some rocks rocky ground a few trees it's like they are eucalypts this time sparse trees into evening light you get down off your horse the lady helps you she's already gotten off her and you tie the horses to the tree she takes your hands and you walk together towards the beach where the Sun is a bright glowing orange ball slowly heading to the horizon she takes you to the beach and you sit down in the sand warm beneath your bare feet you sit cross-legged next to her and then she moves behind you and she holds you she holds you in her arms she rocks you gently and she whispers in your ear know that you are love know that you are love know that you are love fear is only a shadow to remind you of feelings you still need to feel know that I am always here for you know that you can always come and find me and I will hold you and I will be with you and I will care for you I will remind you that you are love you feel strong in her embrace and grateful as the Sun slowly setting suddenly hear a splash you see children playing in the water in front of you teenage about five of them are laughing and jumping in the waves you feel happy the lady lets you go of her embrace she sits next to you as the children come running up to you both they grab your hands and pull you up they want you to come into the water with them you look at the lady and she's already taking off her long gray robe you also take off your outer clothes and you run into the waves with the teenage children you are jumping the waves having fun feeling the water in your face it's cold but not too cold it's refreshing you feel refreshed and thankful for this day and dive under the waves and then you look next to you at the smiling young person there who is really laughing and smiling with you you recognize this as your 15 year old self you're amazed they grab onto your hands and you run into the waves together diving under coming up surfing together playing together and then suddenly you're standing in the shallows shallow water your 15 year old self takes you your both hands looks into your eyes and gives you a huge hug they tell you they love you and that they have something they'll like to share with you they whisper in your ear what they would like to say you listen and you're so grateful to have received a third of these messages from your inner child the child that still lives within you and still guides you the child that now is your responsibility to love and to care for as an adult you take another huge hug with your 15 year old self and you look over and you see the lady with the long gray hair gazing lovingly at you happy that you've connected with these three in a child she comes over and together you hug your 15 year old you and the lady you're happy your journey for today is done and you know the future will be full of many more amazing journeys like this and you know also that you can anytime come back and see this beautiful lady visit this forest visit the plains visit the bamboo grove visit the tribal people go to the beach and connect with your truth connect with your heart knowing that you are love in motion you you you you you slowly open your eyes slowly coming out of the meditation this journey deep into your own heart this journey of self love this journey of connection with your inner self with your inner child of these three different ages take some time to relax after this journey it's been a deep journey you may want to take a bath with bath salts you may want to take a walk in the park or you may want to just take a rest for some time integrate what you have learnt integrate the messages from your inner child thank you for listening wishing you a wonderful day
