Welcome to this meditation to create calmness,

Emotionally calm at work but also mentally alert at work.

Let's begin.

Begin to grips of releasing stress that is in the body and on the mind.

Take a strong breath in,

Beginning now in laying position.

Just lay down and let the whole body begin to have a tiny stretch and you may or may not wish to yawn naturally.

Working from within so the mind and body can be more relaxed but mentally alert at work.

Calm and alert.

So let's focus now on your face.

The face with the expressions,

The muscles,

The lines and squeeze that face really tight.

Then release,

Breathe gently out,

Blow away any tension,

Relax,

Relax the face.

Then squeeze the eyelids tight.

Followed by arching the eyebrows and release.

Breathe gently out,

Blow away any tension,

Relax,

Relax the eyes and close those eyes.

Then bring your attention to one of your shoulders.

Whichever is easier first bring that shoulder up,

Up towards the earlobe taking stress off.

Dropping that shoulder,

Breathe gently out,

Blow away,

Relax that one shoulder into relaxation and ready to take the next shoulder up,

Up to the other earlobe again taking stress off and dropping that last shoulder,

Breathing gently out,

Blow away that shoulder into relaxation.

Let those long arms at the same time squeeze down both sides towards the hands and making a tight fist and rubbing the fingers and thumbs together.

Release,

Gently breathing out and blow away,

Relax the arms,

Relax the hands into a more relaxation state.

Focus now on squeezing tight the back and squeezing the tummy tight.

Release,

Breathing out long and slow,

Relax,

Relax the back,

Relax the tummy.

Beginning to connect to a source of deep relaxation.

Relaxing now on the long legs and squeeze tight those long muscles and release,

Breathing out long and softly,

Blow away into a softer relaxed state,

Relax the legs.

Being aware of these lovely focused breaths brings in lots of oxygen to replenish the whole body and to replenish the mind.

Lastly the feet,

Squeeze the feet into a ball gripping.

Ready to release,

Release that last ounce of stress off and breathe out,

Blow away into a deeper relaxation.

Relaxing the feet.

Now the feet are ready to step down onto a deeper level,

Ready to go down an imaginary path that slopes down escaping,

Descending to a private place of utter peace.

Taking in a nice strong breath for a journey begins down a lovely smooth path to walk on,

Descending gently down slowly and the air seems stiller but of better quality,

Full of fresh oxygen that feeds the body and the mind with good clean energy.

Entering into a wonderful state for the subconscious mind to address new suggestions.

Walking down this sloping path in a way to your subconscious mind.

At the end of the sloping path decisions will be made,

Good decisions to be emotionally calmer at work but mentally alert at work.

So just a little further to walk,

An easy walk down and down the sloping path which begins to level off and you can stand there,

Serene,

Fully in control,

Standing in your power and make those decisions right there.

Standing fully balanced,

Declaring I will be calmer at work and I will be fully alert mentally.

Good suggestions on your new meaning of going to work and making that change to do things calmly in control,

In precision,

Relaxed but fully alert,

Doing everything professionally.

Cutting through the old worn out stress,

Fully in control,

Work is better,

Feels better,

Done calmly and slowly.

Just flowing beautifully relaxed but fully alert,

Owning your power,

Safe and happy.

Taking a calm slow breath in,

Blow away in a good new positive direction,

Positive look at how you now work when at work,

Doing it calmly and of course fully mentally alert,

That's great.

We will be counting up to four shortly to reawaken.

So just for now,

Imagine a warm,

Warm long breeze,

Soft and flighty,

Surrounding the whole body from head to the feet and guiding you,

Blowing you to go back up that little path,

Fully refreshed,

Fully energised.

Let this long warm breeze,

Centred perhaps,

Super fresh fragrant breeze carry you up the little path,

Back to your conscious thinking mind to put it all into action.

Calm,

Alert at work and that long breeze brings out the sunshine,

Bright sunshine,

Feeling all lit up,

Bright positive thinking,

Walking back up to the top of the path,

To the conscious thinking mind and at the top now and taking a nice strong breath in now and awakening to the counter far,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Fully awake,

Open the eyes wide open,

Back in the here and now with good energy.

This is different but I really enjoyed the squeeze and release meditation.
