Take a moment or two to settle. Sink into the surface supporting you. And give yourself permission to take this time for yourself. Feel your eyelids become heavier and let those eyes gently close. Slowly scan your body for signs of tension. Focus on any areas that are tense. See them dissolve into nothing. Relax. Let the muscles become loose. Relax. Let the body become heavier. Relax. Relax and start to drift. Drift into the space behind your eyes. Picture yourself standing in the center of a very small clearing, Surrounded by tall, Mature trees. They reach high above you. Study their trunks, Their branches, Their foliage. Notice how small you feel in comparison. Take your awareness to the base of the trees. See their strength. Notice how their roots are firmly anchored in the ground. Now switch your focus to your own feet standing firmly on the ground. Feel them. Feel the energy in them connect you to the earth. Feel them grow stronger and deeper into the earth. Become aware of your body. It contracts and draws itself inwards and down into your roots. You are traveling down, Down through your roots. Down into the tunnel of time. Look around you. The tunnel of time is warm and you feel very safe inside it. Notice the structure, The colors, The textures as you move down deeper and deeper towards the source of your ancestry. You are being called home. In the distance is a faint light. You become aware that the tunnel is no longer going down but up. Up towards the light. Close, Closer and closer. Suddenly you emerge into the light, Into the edge of a clearing. Your clearing, But there is a difference. The surrounding trees are not so tall, More like saplings. You stand amongst them. You feel their presence, Their familiarity. You feel them gently shepherd you into the center of the clearing. And you realize that they are not trees at all, But people. Your people. Your family. Your ancestors. You sit in the center of the clearing and they sit in a circle around you. The power of the clan flows through you. You feel the strength of the connection. Sit for a moment in the feeling of it. It's time to ask questions. Who are you? Who are they? Where are you? Allow yourself to just be. To see whatever you may or may not see. To feel whatever you may or may not feel. To recognize where you are. Who you are. See the connection like a thread of light flowing between you and them. How your roots reach and spread and connect. Take your time. Don't strive for the answers. They will come in their own time. Let yourself go. Remember, Know where you belong. Take your time. Don't strive for the answers. They will come in their own time. Let yourself go. Remember, Know where you belong. Take your time. Don't strive for the answers. You feel the strength of the connection. You feel the strength of the connection. You feel the strength of the connection. You feel the strength of the connection. It's time to leave now. As you stand, Your ancestors, Your family stand with you. They move in closer. Their arms raised like a sheltering canopy as they come closer and closer. Embracing you in their love, Their being. Feel yourself contract within until you are back in the tunnel of time. The tunnels of your roots. Travelling. Back to the clearing. Back to the tall, Mature trees. Recognize them. Notice how you've grown taller. Stronger. Feel your roots through the soles of your feet connecting you to the earth. To your family. Know you belong. Know who you are. Gradually now come back to your body. To this time and place. Stretch your fingers and toes. Your arms and legs. Open your eyes. Welcome back.

Your voice is so soothing and mystical. I didn’t necessarily see my ancestors but I felt a familiar and deep connection with the trees and forest environment and they blessed me with knowledge and affirmation of my spiritual journey. Thank you for your guidance 💫🦋🌎💋

Amazing. By far the most interesting approach to this particular practice I have seen (er, heard—but it’s *very* visual here). Easily repeatable (with potential for quite different encounters each time), and its fairly brief run time makes it tempting to return … right … now!
