The beginning. Just sitting or lying. Letting those eyelids close gently. Just breathing. Picture a wave of calmness like the last part of a wave that slowly rolls onto the sand. Soft, Gentle and light. Picture this wave of calmness gently flowing over your toes and your feet, And then disappearing into the calmness. Gently rippling up your shins to your knees. Disappearing into the calmness. A long wave flowing now over your knees and up your thighs. Inside and out. Calmness. Disappearing into the calmness. Up over your hips and your belly, Your waist. Across your fingers and lower arms and lower abdomen. Disappearing into the wave of calmness. Up your arms and your chest and your back to your shoulders. This gentle wave. Of calmness. And now it's as if the lower part of you is just there, But not there. Into your neck and across your head. Your jaw. Your ears. Inside and out. The back of the head. This gentle wave. Long, Slow ripples past your nose and your eyes to the crown of your head. Disappearing into this wave of calmness. And then like a wave on the shore, Gently receding. Gently flowing back down. And taking with it all tensions and negativities and stress. And leaving behind the calmness. This sense of peace. But being refreshed. Flowing down. Gently draining all unnecessary things from your body. Gently draining back. Ebbing like the wave. Until eventually it flows off your feet and toes. Leaving you in a state of perfect calm. The end.

That was so soothing and calming that I did not move and stayed still for 15 minutes afterwards. When I finally moved, it was a brand new me. Thank you so much. Just what I needed and I will be coming back to this one.

This is probably one of the best meditations I have ever done. I always feel SO much more calm but also ready to take on whatever sparked the anxiety.
