So come and get yourself into a warm and cosy space and position,
Maybe even grabbing a hot water bottle,
A blanket,
Some pillows and tuck everything in around you.
Allow yourself to feel supported,
In this time of the month our body is releasing,
It's letting go.
So in this moment allow yourself to release and let go into this soft relaxation,
Releasing your burdens,
Your jobs and your responsibilities.
Feel this lightness filling your body with this warm bright light.
You are only responsible for yourself now.
Allowing yourself to enjoy this moment of stillness and of peace.
If you are lying down,
Perhaps you want to place your hands,
A cushion or a water bottle on top of your womb space,
Just giving it that little extra bit of heat,
Touch or nourishment.
Now begin the process of sweeping energy throughout the body.
As your awareness moves you can direct energy from point to point,
You might like to experience it as a loving caress of energy or a little smile to each body part along the way,
Experiencing in any way that feels soothing.
We will start on the right side,

Every aspect of the body in every way is welcome,
Begin to thank your body for its role in carrying you through life,
Its role in your menstrual cycle,
Housing this monthly cycle in the body,
Thanking your body for all the little ways it's contributed to the learning,
To the joy and evolving in your life,
Appreciating the body and also knowing your being extends far beyond the body alone,
Begin to bring awareness to your breath,
Just the natural breath,
Nothing for you to do,
Body is miraculously breathing itself,
Body is taking care of this for you,
Notice the breath flowing in and flowing out through the nostrils,
Two streams of air softly flowing in and flowing out,
And feel as you breathe in,
You are breathing in energy,
Vital life force,
And this vital life force is known as prana,
Breathing in prana,
Energy,
And as this energy flows in,
Feel that you pull it in all the way down into the lungs and towards the centre of the body at the navel,
And as you exhale,
Feel the energy disperse out to nourish all parts of your body,
Exhale energy dispersing through a network of energy tubes like the nerves of the physical body,
And keep breathing in this way for the next few breaths,
Inhaling energy,
Exhaling dispersing energy throughout the body,
And if the mind wanders off,
Bring it back to your breath.
Inhaling energy,
Exhaling dispersing energy throughout the body,
Maybe beginning to feel as if the whole body is alive with this energy,
Recognising this energy body,
A more subtle aspect of your being,
The energy body gives life to all aspects of your being and allows you to feel,
Noticing any positive sensation in this moment,
Maybe a feeling of energy,
Calmness,
And give gratitude to the energy body for allowing you to feel this positive sensation,
And allow yourself to rest in this peace,
Resting in your deepest essence,
Peaceful,
And free.
And begin to bring awareness back to your breath,
Notice your body breathing,
Feel your body breathing,
And take a moment to enjoy the non-doing of your breathing.
Now,
Take a deep breath in,
And feel energy and awareness coming back into the body,
And when you feel ready to,
Begin to make some gentle movements in the body,
Listening in and moving when and how you'd like.
If your hands are still resting on your belly,
Just bring that awareness into the sensation of having the hand resting over your womb's face.
Keeping your eyes closed if you can,
When you feel ready to,
Come and bring yourself up to a comfortable seated position,
And feel the energy rising upward as you sit here,
Feel the body activating,
The mind activating,
And yet still remaining relaxed,
Possibly feeling more connected than when you began,
Possibly more connected to the breath,
To the body,
To your womb's face,
Maybe more peaceful and at ease.
Take a moment to thank yourself for simply being here,
Thanking yourself for taking this time for yourself,
And when you're ready,
Allow yourself to take a deep breath in through the nose,
And let it go through the mouth.
Taking as many of those cleansing breaths as you need,
And when you feel ready to,
Allow your eyes to slowly open,
Carrying any positive experience from your practice into the rest of your day.
