Welcome to your centering meditation.
Now this meditation can be done as often as you need.
So let's come and get into a comfortable position.
Rest your hands in your lap or on your thighs or in a hand mudra that works for you to help find focus and stillness.
And then let's gently close down our eyes.
Allow the spine to be tall,
Grounding down through the base of the spine,
Finding length and lift up through the crown of your head.
And take a few deep cleansing breaths until you feel calm and relaxed.
And then take a few deep cleansing breaths until you feel calm.
Noticing any tension or discomfort in your body.
The focus is on the body,
The body is the body.
And the body is the body.
And the body is the body.
And the body is the body.
And the body is the body.
And the focus is on your breathing into those places,
Inviting them to relax.
And continue breathing normally,
Focusing on each breath and noticing the air entering your lungs and exiting with each inhale and exhale.
And exiting with each inhale and exhale.
Now,
Begin to ask yourself,
Where do I envision my center located in my body?
Where do I envision my center located in my body?
Some people envision it in their heart or their solar plexus.
You might find that your body is in the center of your chest,
You might find it behind your belly button or maybe in your upper chest.
Wherever you might find that you feel the most stress or anxiety,
The way you feel the most calm when you relieve that stress and anxiety.
Once you locate the center point in your body,
We will keep returning to it as part of the centering meditation.
If you don't know where your center is,
Just choose a place that feels right for you.
After a few minutes of focused breathing,
As you inhale,
Imagine that all of your scattered energies rushing back from out in the world into your center point of your body.
View these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
Envision them filling your center with calm and contentment.
And as you exhale,
Envision all of the stress,
Confusion,
Anxiety and busyness leaving your body and floating away out of sight.
Inhaling,
Imagining that all of your scattered energies are rushing back from out in the world and into your center point of your body.
And as you exhale,
You're envisioning all the stress,
Confusion,
Anxiety and busyness leaving your body and floating away.
As you inhale,
Envision these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays,
Filling your center with calm and contentment.
And continue with this breathing and this visualization until you feel calmly energized and centered into yourself again.
And as you exhale,
Imagine all of your scattered energies rushing back from out in the world and into your center point of your body.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine these energies as white,
Peaceful,
Healing rays that you are breathing in.
And just know that you can come back to this meditation whenever you need to.
You can come back to this focus on your centre and connecting with each breath in and each breath out.
Inhaling calm,
Exhaling stress.
Inhaling calm,
Exhaling stress.
Inhaling calm,
Exhaling stress.
Namaste.
