Welcome to your chakra meditation.

In this meditation we are using a practice called Nyasa practice.

And Nyasa means to place within.

So during this Nyasa practice we place our attention carefully at a point in our body.

For this meditation we place vibration or mantra in the chakras.

After each sound sit quietly and listen inwards for any thoughts or feelings or emotions that may arise.

So I invite you to come and find a comfortable seated position or you can do this practice laying down if you prefer.

Take a few moments to find a comfortable seat and a sense of calmness from within.

Bring your attention to your brain and spinal cord and let yourself feel as if they are floating in fluid.

As you inhale follow the breath up the spine through the fluid.

And swimming down on the exhale.

Focusing on this life giving energy that is flowing through your body along the whole length of the spine.

Through the seven chakras,

The main energy centres that sit along the spine and up into the crown of the head.

Begin to focus on your tailbone,

Your root chakra located at the base of your spine.

When you inhale draw the breath down the spine into your tailbone.

And as you exhale visualise the colour red.

And the sound for this chakra is LAM.

L A M.

Feel free to chant that with me now five times.

LAM.

LAM.

LAM.

LAM.

LAM.

Laying aside all those distractions that threaten your stability.

Reminding yourself of what it is to feel grounded,

Confident of your foundation.

Next,

Bring your attention to your lower belly,

The seat of your second chakra,

The sacral chakra.

And as you inhale bring your attention to your lower abdomen and feel your lower belly soften.

The colour is orange and the sound is VAM.

Let's chant this three times.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

VAM.

Laying aside all those dissatisfactions that threaten your sense of abundance.

Reminding yourself of what it is to feel content and confident that you have everything you need.

Now bring your energy and consciousness into the solar plexus,

The third chakra,

The seat of our power.

The colour is yellow.

The sound is RAM.

R-A-M.

Bring your attention to your navel centre as we repeat the sound.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

RAM.

And laying aside all those situations that threaten your self-confidence,

Reminding yourself of what it is to feel assured and confident that you've got this.

Now to your heart,

Inhale and fill your heart with love and attention.

Feel your heartbeat and let this green shade surround and shroud your heart.

As you breathe in,

Fill up the physical and energetical heart center with the sound yam,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam.

Yam yaa!

!

Yam laying aside all those interactions that threaten your peace,

Reminding yourself of what it is to feel whole and confident in your ability to give and receive love.

Now to the throat.

Breathe a deep crystal blue clear breath into the throat space as if you were bringing more clarity to this area.

Feel yourself vibrate with the expression,

Ham,

H-A-M,

Filling your throat three dimensionally.

Ham,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

Lay aside all those communications that threaten your integrity,

Reminding yourself of what it is to feel authentic and confident to express yourself truly and clearly.

Now,

Moving to the center of your brain,

The third eye chakra in between the eyes.

And imagine a violet light behind the eyes and draw all your vision to this spot and feel the vibration of arm wash through your head.

Ham,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

And lay aside all those superficialities that threaten your perceptiveness and remind yourself of what it is to feel intuitive and confident in your innate wisdom.

And now bring your attention to the space above the crown of your head,

The crown chakra.

Here is where the thousand petal lotus sits.

Visualize a bright crystalline pure light shining on the top of your head.

And lay aside all those motivations that threaten your spirituality.

Remind yourself of what it is to feel connected and confident of your inner beauty.

Now inhale from the thousand petal lotus to the base of your spine.

And exhale from the root all the way to the crown.

And finally,

Release all effort.

Feel and listen within.

Namaste.
