This is a quick and simple breathing exercise to help you release tension and refocus. You can complete this anywhere at any time, either lying down or in a comfortable seated position. In two minutes, we'll take five breaths in through the nose and sigh them out through the mouth. You may notice your mind and body become a little more quiet and still after this practice.

This is a simple breathing exercise to help you release tension and refocus.

Ideally you're laying down,

But if that's not possible find a comfortable seat with a tall spine,

Relaxing shoulders away from your ears.

When you're ready close your eyes or keep a soft gaze.

We'll take five breaths together inhaling through the nose and then sighing out through the mouth.

Again closing the eyes or keeping a soft gaze wherever you are in your breath cycle.

Exhale and we'll inhale through the nose.

Exhale open mouth sigh.

Again inhale let it go.

Three more.

Last one.

Remain still and keep the eyes closed.

Take a quick body scan noticing where you've maybe released some tension.

Noticing the mind perhaps it's a little bit more quiet.

Remember you can return to this breathing exercise at any time throughout your day to help you refocus and let go.
