Thank you for letting me be with you in this 10 to 15 minute pause from a conflict that you've been engaged in with someone you want to maintain a relationship with and start to realign,
De-stress,
Express the stress and tension so that you can reconnect and repair.
This relationship means a lot to you and you owe it to the relationship and yourself to take a moment to come back to your mat,
Your space in the world,
Your home,
So you can take care of yourself and express what you need to express so you can be fully present for this relationship and yourself.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable seat with your feet planted on the floor or maybe you'd like to stand or lie down.
Allow your eyes to become soft,
Maybe even let them softly close so you can go inward.
Take a moment to just check in.
Check in with your body sensations.
What sensations are you noticing right now?
No emotions,
Not stories,
Just sensations.
Tightness,
Tension,
Pressure,
Ease.
And then begin to check in with your emotions.
What emotions are present?
Again,
Not stories,
Just the emotions.
Anxiety,
Fear,
Doubt,
Uncertainty.
Then take a moment to check in with the stories,
Those thoughts that we tell ourselves,
The beliefs,
The narrative.
They're all stories.
They're all things that we're telling ourselves based off events and experiences that have happened before.
And they may not be true.
Without entertaining them,
We're just noticing those stories.
What are you telling yourself right now?
And then take a moment to notice how they're connected,
The sensations,
Emotions,
And stories.
Now pause.
What is it that you're wanting?
How do you really want to feel?
In one word,
What do you want to receive from this practice?
Go ahead and say it out loud.
Peace,
Connection,
Openness,
Love.
Beautiful.
In a moment,
I'm going to shift the music and I invite you to clear out what is in the way of that intention for you right now.
What stress are you holding in your body that needs cleared out of the way?
I'll invite you to breathe in and out through the mouth in the first half all the way down to the belly,
Finding a rhythm and clearing out what is in the way,
What stress needs expressed.
And let's go.
Deep breaths.
Keep going.
That's it.
Find your rhythm.
How does your body want to create space?
Clear out the stress.
Clear out the tension.
Breathe into it and clear it out like a broom.
Sweep it out.
Let your body tell you where it's holding stress.
Allow yourself to move it out.
Move your body.
Breathe into it and let your body move.
How does it want to move it out?
Shake it out.
Jump it out.
Go ahead and stand up if you need to.
Move around if you need to.
What sounds does your body want to make?
Stay with the breath.
Clear out what doesn't serve you right now.
Clear it out.
It served you once.
It doesn't serve you now.
Let it move through.
Almost there.
Stay with it.
Shake it out.
Stomp it out.
Moan it out.
Use your voice.
Use your body to move it through.
Three more breaths.
What still needs to clear out?
Okay.
Let's slow it down for a breath hold.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Another deep breath in and let it go.
And a deep breath in all the way to the top.
Hold.
Connect with your intention.
What do you want to breathe back into all that space?
How do you want to feel?
Connect with that feeling.
And when you're ready,
Let that breath go.
And breathe in the feeling you are wanting.
Slowing it down in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Slowing it down.
Breathe that feeling into all of your cells.
Let it fill back up those spaces you cleared out.
Let your body fill up with that feeling.
Breathe it into every one of your pores,
Every bone,
Every fiber.
Breathe it in.
Slowing it down and breathing it all in.
Breathing all the parts of yourself back together.
Breathing in love.
Breathing in the love that you've been lacking.
Breathe that love in for all your parts.
Love for yourself.
Love for others.
Slowing it down and breathing in more love.
And how relaxed can you become?
Softening into your breath.
Softening into the feeling of gratitude.
Breathe it in.
What are you thankful for?
What are you grateful for?
Breathe it into your body.
So your body radiates the frequency of gratitude.
And then slowly begin to bring awareness back into your body.
Awareness to the back body,
Supporting your entire being,
Your spine.
And imagine that the most brilliant light is shining throughout the entire spine,
From the base of your neck all the way down,
Vertebra by vertebra,
All the way down through your tailbone.
This light shines down through your tailbone,
This light shines down through your legs.
This light continues to shine and extends down through your feet,
Through the floor,
And all the way down through the layers of the earth.
Connecting with the grounding,
Nurturing core of the earth.
Breathing as you connect with the earth's energy.
And pulling that grounding,
Nurturing energy back up through the floor,
Through your feet and legs,
Up through the tailbone,
Up into the spine,
And into the heart center.
Bring awareness again to the back body,
That light shining throughout your spine from your tailbone,
All the way up this time,
Up the spine,
Up through the neck,
All the way up this time,
Up the spine,
Up through the neck,
Up through your head and out the crown,
Extending far above and beyond to the greatest source energy.
Breathing in and connecting with that great all-knowing source energy.
And pulling the source energy back down through the crown,
Through the head,
Down the neck,
And into the heart center.
And here at your heart center,
Connects the earth and the source energies.
You are the connection between the source and the earth.
Knowing,
Grounding,
Nurturing.
And placing a hand on your heart and the other hand on top of that one.
And sensing into that center,
That center of connection.
Taking a deep breath as you feel your chest push against your hand with life.
And your hand gently nurturing against your chest.
And bowing the head with the chin gently toward the chest,
Whisper to yourself,
I love you.
I am here for you now.
Another deep breath in.
Gently beginning to bring awareness to the world around you.
Noticing your body on the surface it's on.
Noticing the sounds in the room around you.
The sound of my voice.
The sounds inside the room and outside your windows or your home.
Gently beginning to bring awareness into this time and space.
And now,
Now you're ready.
Ready to connect and repair.
Go back to your partner or whoever it was.
Your friend,
Your loved one,
Your family member.
And say to them,
Holding their hands in yours and looking them right in the eyes.
I am ready now.
I can hear you now.
And I'm here with me now too.
