Welcome to your tapping titled,
It didn't work out like I thought it would,
And that's okay.
Today is going to be so helpful if maybe you recently didn't have something work out for you in the way that you thought it would work out.
Maybe you really envisioned something totally different for yourself.
You envisioned a different outcome and that's just not what happened.
And that is totally okay and I want you to know that your feelings are so valid and it's so hard sometimes to experience things like that and situations like that.
So I just want this to allow you to help yourself work through any thoughts and feelings and emotions you're experiencing around this situation.
Allow yourself to kind of just work through it as we talked today and allow yourself to get to a place of acceptance and knowing that this is okay.
We're not necessarily trying to be super positive or get to a whole different mindset right here.
Today's all about acceptance because sometimes that's truly what you need to even start to think about how to get to a more positive place.
So go ahead and get comfortable and we are going to begin by taking a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap on the side of your hand.
Even though I had the best intentions,
It didn't turn out like I thought it would,
But I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though it's upsetting that it didn't turn out like I thought it would,
I love and accept myself anyway.
I know that I can get to a place where I feel that it's okay that it didn't turn out like I thought it would,
And I love and accept myself.
Go ahead,
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I'm upset that this didn't pan out.
Side of your eye.
I thought this would go differently.
Under your eye.
And it didn't.
Under your nose.
All roads felt like they were leading me to success.
Under your mouth.
And I didn't get there.
Collarbone.
Well,
At least maybe not in the way that I thought I would.
Under your armpit.
And that feels very upsetting to me.
Top of the head.
And I'm allowed to be upset.
Go ahead,
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I know it's never easy when something doesn't work out.
Side of your eye.
But this really felt like it was going to.
Under your eye.
It really felt like it would look differently than it does.
Under your nose.
And that's a little jarring to me.
Under your mouth.
I truly wasn't expecting that.
Collarbone.
So it's okay that I feel the way that I do.
Under your armpit.
Anyone would feel this way.
Top of the head.
And that's okay.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I'm feeling more okay with what happened.
Side of your eye.
I don't have to like how it happened.
Under your eye.
I just have to accept it.
Under your nose.
I have to be okay with it.
Under your mouth.
Because that's the only way I'm going to move past it.
Collarbone.
And I know that I'm getting there.
Under your armpit.
It's not the easiest to just accept it.
Top of the head.
But I feel myself getting there more and more.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I am deciding now to accept that this is how it turned out.
Side of your eye.
I am deciding to be okay with the fact that it turned out this way.
Under your eye.
I am deciding that I want to start to move on.
Under your nose.
It's okay if all of this takes more time.
Under your mouth.
But I know that I am getting there.
Collarbone.
I know that I've decided within myself that this is where I'm going.
Under your armpit.
And I'm allowing myself to get there more and more every day.
Top of the head.
It's okay that it didn't turn out like I thought it would.
And I love and accept myself.
Go ahead.
Take a deep breath in and breathe out.
Okay.
That is the end of our tapping today.
And I truly hope that this helped you come to a place of acceptance.
And maybe if that feels like such a small feeling right now,
Like you've accepted it in a very tiny,
Tiny amount,
Then maybe go ahead and do this tapping over again whenever you feel it's necessary.
And just begin to grow that acceptance.
Continue to allow yourself to process how this has all made you feel and just come to a place of acceptance when that feels right for you,
When it feels good,
When it feels like you've processed it enough.
And that's really what's going to help you get to that next phase where you're looking at something else.
You're on to something else.
So I truly hope this helped you today and I want to thank you so much for listening.
