Hello,
My name is Nee and welcome to today's meditation called the Inner Smile Meditation.
This type of practice is a way for us to look deeply within ourselves and smile to each of our major organs of our body,
Activating the energy of loving kindness within us.
I'd invite you to get yourself into a nice and comfortable position,
Either sitting up straight with your back elongated or laying down somewhere nice and comfortable.
And once you're nice and ready,
I'd invite you to begin closing your eyes gently and just relaxing your whole body.
Relaxing your shoulders,
Your arms,
Fingers,
Your legs,
Feet,
Jaw,
Your entire face.
And just breathe slowly and smoothly,
Letting go of everything that doesn't serve you on each exhalation.
And now focus your attention on the space in the middle between your eyebrows,
Your third eye.
And now feel waves of inner joy visualizing a peaceful scene in your mind.
Something that invokes a feeling that allows you to smile.
What brings a smile to your face?
And now gather this joy and bliss and watch it travel down your entire body from the top of your head.
Allow the smiling energy to flow like a cascading,
Sweet waterfall down your nose to wash over your lips.
And now raise the corners of your mouth slightly with an inner smile.
Now invite you to place your tongue behind your teeth at the roof of your mouth to connect your energy circuit for the entire practice.
Relaxing your jaw.
Now swallow your saliva and feel your throat open and relax as you smile to your voice box.
Give thanks for it allows the power of balance and speech.
And now visualize your thymus sitting where your throat is blossoming like a flower and smile to this space giving thanks for it allows you healing energy and strong immunity.
Now let this smile radiate to the happiness center of your heart.
The space of unconditional love.
Feel your heart soften and fill it with red love nectar.
Release anything from this space that doesn't serve you.
Maybe it's some pain,
Hurt,
Impatience or anger.
Releasing it all on each exhalation.
Now send a big smile to your open heart.
Smiling as big as you can and saying thank you.
Thank you for the love and compassion,
Kindness and joy.
And for it beating every single second of the day to keep you breathing and alive.
And now gather this loving energy from your heart and spread it throughout your entire chest,
Your lungs.
Sense every single cell of your being relax.
Thank every single cell of your body for oxygenating you,
For protecting you,
For loving you.
And now smile to your liver as it emanates a forest green color.
Release any anger or resentment from this space.
With each inhalation smile and absorb the kindness,
Forgiveness and acceptance.
Thank you liver for your role in metabolism and purification.
Now send this pure smiling stream of energy to your stomach,
Pancreas,
And vision these organs basking in a golden yellow light as they relax to release any worries or anxiety.
Thank you organs for maintaining my healthy digestion,
Immunity and sugar levels.
Keeping your body completely relaxed,
Send this loving smile to your kidneys,
Releasing any fears or stress.
And feel it filling you up with wisdom and calmness.
Thank you kidneys and adrenals for filtering my blood,
Balancing my water and increasing my resistance to stress.
Thank you for the willpower that you provide me.
Now smile to your reproductive area,
Filling it up with tender loving energy,
Appreciating the pleasure and the power that it gives you.
Thank you for producing hormones that nourish my mind and body.
Now smile up your entire spine washing your whole body with golden white light flowing from each vertebra through your entire nervous system,
Bone marrow,
Bones,
Muscles,
Skin and hair.
Feel this smiling waterfall rise to your crown above your head,
Showering your entire body with ecstasy,
Bliss,
Peace,
Happiness and love.
Now allow this energy to flow back down to your belly,
Moving down to your feet creating a circuit around your body.
And now to complete this practice,
I'd invite you to slowly make your way up standing with your feet grounded on the earth.
We're going to spiral your energy around your navel centre.
This is where your belly button sits.
So with men you can place your palms left over your right palm.
And with women you're going to place your right palm over your left and spiral your energy clockwise 36 times.
And when you've completed your 36 rotations clockwise,
Reverse the direction anticlockwise 24 times.
This allows you to store your smiling energy in this centre point.
And now to complete this practice,
I'd invite you to slowly make your way up standing with your right palm over your left.
And once you're finished,
You can just completely relax.
And then gently opening your eyes in your own time and just witness,
Witness all the beauty and the magic that surrounds you.
Because everything that you perceive is a reflection of your internal world.
