Today's meditation is going to focus on letting go of the chaos of the world,
Letting go of worry,
And really becoming grounded in the moment,
In the here and now.
And in case you're using this meditation to help you fall asleep,
The end will not have any ending bells.
So before we begin,
Find a place where you can be quiet,
Free from distraction,
For the duration of your meditation.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Bringing the breath all the way down to the very bottom of your belly,
Feeling as your stomach expands,
And then gently releasing the breath through your mouth,
Allowing yourself to breathe at your own perfect pace,
Letting go of any outward distractions and turning your focus inward,
Focusing on your breath as you inhale and as you exhale,
Allowing any thoughts to become fluid,
Just passing through your mind with no attachment.
Each breath allowing you to go deeper and deeper into a state of calm and relaxation.
Notice if there are any areas of tension being held in your body,
And inhale into that area,
And then as you exhale,
Give that area permission to release the tension with your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Focusing only on the sensations of your breath,
The sensations being created in this moment.
And as you inhale,
Allow yourself to become grounded in this moment,
Exhaling and letting go of any worries that you might have been carrying along with you throughout the day,
That in this moment you are safe,
That everything is okay,
Allowing your mind permission to become present with your body in this moment.
With each exhale,
Allow yourself to detach from the future,
Allowing it to naturally come into the present as it will,
Allowing it to naturally come forward into the present,
Into the now where you are safe in this moment,
Letting go of any thoughts that may have drifted into the time ahead of the now,
Allowing your mind to be present,
Allowing it to be where your body is,
Aligning yourself into this moment.
Breathing and allowing yourself to detach from the future,
Inhaling and aligning your mind with your body,
Giving yourself permission to be right here where you are,
Detaching from the future,
And allowing your mind to align with your body.
Letting go of the weight of the world,
Letting go of the weight of the world,
Letting go of the weight of the world,
The weight that materializes when you allow your mind to drift into the future,
Feeling the lightness as your mind aligns with your body,
As you become grounded in the present moment where you are safe.
If you find that your mind begins to wander,
Simply allow your thoughts to be fluid,
Just passing through,
And bring your focus back to your breathing as you inhale,
And allow your mind to align with your body in the present moment,
Grounding you where you are safe.
And exhale,
Letting go of the future,
Detaching from any worry,
And letting go of what has been weighing you down,
Noticing as your breath becomes slower and your breathing becomes steeper as you inhale and align your mind with your body.
And exhale,
Letting go of the future,
And detaching from worry.

Aligning where you are safe and protected,
Right here in the present moment.
