You might have heard this term,

Divine Feminine.

The Divine Feminine.

What does that even mean?

We live in a society now where a lot of words are bandied around and we need to really allow ourselves to understand what that terminology is referring to.

On Insight Timer you can find many meditations and many moments of utilising the Divine Feminine.

So let's get into it.

Within society today.

It allows you to come back to the things that general society,

Patriarchal society,

Has hidden from us in favour of being something.

On all the time.

Divine feminine means coming back to and returning to your intuition,

Your creativity,

Your cyclical awareness,

Maybe even looking at things like the moon and where you allow yourself to deeply reset at times.

The divine feminine means that you allow yourself to undo the doing of society.

It doesn't come with any attachment to any particular divine feminine being,

Archetypes,

Or anything else more than just coming back to some stillness,

Some time,

Some acknowledgement that the feminine exists within our society.

Without the feminine we cannot have this balance of the masculine and the feminine and the divine aspect of that is simply allowing for a sacred pause,

A sacred rest,

Something that is done in real-time acknowledgement rather than just the feminine and just something that we do.

It's acknowledging it within more of a time frame,

More of a sacred space.

So the divine feminine is there for us to refer back to when we want to honour and acknowledge ourselves within this world of busyness.

In practice,

This looks like coming back to our cyclical awareness that we are women with a cycle.

It might look like moon ceremony and the moon cycle,

Especially if we're in our perimenopause and our menopause.

It might just be moments to acknowledge the archetype that we're in,

Whether we're as the maiden,

The mother,

The crone,

Acknowledging these moments within our lives and returning back to the divine,

Turning back to this greater space that we exist in,

That we don't just live in this binary world,

That there's more to the world than the binary.

That is what the Divine Feminine is about.

And so you can utilize that terminology,

The Divine Feminine,

In a way that works for you.

And what I really promote is going on your own journey and starting small,

A meditation,

What kind of archetypes you're in right now?

Are you in the mother era?

Are you in the maiden era?

Are you in the mother-lover era?

Because you can't really connect with the mother archetype as such.

Where are you?

What do you need right now?

That question,

What do you need right now?

That's plenty when it comes to understanding what this divine feminine exploration is.

And that is all this is.

It's an exploration to get curious about the feminine in today's very masculine world.

It's as simple as that.
