When your mind and heart are at war,
Today,
Finding the time to calm the mind and the heart.
When you find yourself in a position of discomfort,
Where your mind runs into overdrive and your heart beats at pace that creates almost a pain in your chest,
It can feel as though your heart and your mind are at war.
It can feel as though this feeling will come and go through peaks and troughs for days,
Weeks,
Maybe months.
The feeling of calm waves over you if only for a second and then suddenly,
The mind reverts back to those thoughts.
The thoughts that I feel uncomfortable and your heart beats faster.
It races.
Your mind works to switch through while your heart continues to flutter.
It's understandable lovely one.
We all know the feeling of being there.
Your mind won't stop thinking about the what ifs,
The how comes,
The but what nows.
When your heart feels the anxiety and the levels of cortisol rise to an uncomfortable amount.
When we feel as though it may be,
Almost,
Maybe it will beat out of our chests.
We all know the feeling of our throats tightening,
The prickles on our skin rising and the difficult thoughts flowing through the mind.
We've all been there.
We are all with you,
Darling.
We know the pain.
We know the discomfort you are feeling.
These times are hard.
These times when your heart and your mind are at war and you wonder when will the war cease?
Lovely is important.
It's so important to take a step back.
To create this time of calm.
To use this time for you.
These thoughts will continue to wash over you but they are just that.
They are just thoughts that come and go as freely as the waves move back and forth.
Thoughts won't change the outcome,
Darling one.
Thoughts won't change the past or the future.
Thoughts can change the present.
They can create a time where you can end the war right now.
Give you time and space to just be.
Think of the waves rushing in.
The noise as they rise up and crash down.
The waves bring with them these unwanted thoughts.
The worries,
The upset,
The stresses and strains of your everyday life.
Allow them to wash in and up the beach,
If only for a second.
Then allow the water to wash back.
The water takes with it the unwanted thoughts,
The debris,
The larger,
The smaller rocks of thoughts that weigh you down.
It can feel like you're feeling again,
Lovely one.
Feel the waves rushing in and rushing back.
Feel the lightness your mind and heart feel as those thoughts disappear once more before the waves crash back.
Take time now to think about those thoughts with the waves and allow them to disappear back while another rises.
Now take time to only think of calm and love while the waves rush in.
The noise becomes a rush of positivity of good,
Of things that make you feel wonderful.
These thoughts fill up your cup,
Give you time to breathe,
Allow you to feel something warm,
Something of hope.
Keep those thoughts as they rush backwards.
The feeling,
How your heart feels calmer,
Your mind feels less exhausted.
The waves crash again and the same positive thoughts crash with them.
They rush back and wash over you,
Bringing light,
Warmth and calm.
Take time now for my darling one to think about these thoughts.
Know that the negative thoughts will rush back through in your heart or heavy,
But know,
Lovely,
Know that they are just that.
They are just negative thoughts that can calm and go and rush right through and back out as soon as they come in.
As quickly as they come,
Allow them back out again.
We all fall in the trap of overwhelm but know that your thoughts can't change an outcome.
Negative thoughts and worries cannot help the process.
They will only hinder,
Create chaos and stresses that take time to move past.
Know it is okay to have them,
But know it is also okay to let them go.
As you move through the day,
Let the waves move to the shore.
Consider this time you have taken for yourself and remember the days and the waves,
Lovely one.
How they move back and forth,
How your thoughts can come and go,
How some days are better than others,
We all understand.
Remember how you felt when your mind and your heart were at war and remember how it feels when your mind and your heart work together as one.
All my love now.
All my love.
