
Inner Child Wisdom
This is a meditation design to have us peacefully and lovingly connect to our younger selves in order to gain wisdom that we need on our current journey. We are ever evolving and moving forward but sometimes it is powerful to hear what our younger selves have to say.

In life we are ever evolving,
We are ever changing,
We are ever growing,
And it is a constant movement forward to become our highest and best selves.
And sometimes in that process we have to go back and gain the wisdom that we've held onto from our youngest self.
Sometimes our inner child holds a wisdom and a knowing that we need to access at this point in our lives.
This meditation is going to allow us to go back and connect with that younger self and pull out,
Glean the wisdom that we need for our evolution right now.
So I'm going to invite you to settle into a comfortable space,
Close your eyes,
Take some deep breaths in.
As you breathe in,
You breathe in relaxation and calm,
And as you breathe out you exhale any tension and stress and anything you might be carrying that doesn't serve you at this moment in time.
Let's just continue to take some of those deep breaths,
Breathing in relaxation,
Breathing out any tension,
Stress,
Or things that don't serve you.
As we continue to breathe,
Become aware of your body.
Begin to do a body scan,
Starting at the top of your head.
You can imagine some white calming light infusing into your body as you do this,
And you're going to just focus on the top of your head and relax all the muscles,
All the thoughts,
All the things that keep you from relaxing.
We're just going to let them go.
We're going to give them away to that light,
And we're going to allow that light to move down across our faces,
Across our scalp,
To the back of our neck,
And we're going to just give away anything that doesn't serve,
Anything that doesn't promote our deepest relaxation.
Allow that light to infuse all the muscles of your face,
All the muscles of your head,
Right down to your neck.
As we take some more deep relaxing breaths in,
We're going to allow that warm white light to cascade over your shoulders,
Over your back,
Over your chest,
Releasing and relaxing all the muscles,
All the tensions,
All the thoughts,
All the worries,
Anything that doesn't serve your highest and best good right now at this moment in time as we relax.
And as that white light continues to move down,
Down your chest,
Down your arms,
Down your back,
It's just going to infuse some extra warmth,
Extra peace,
Extra contentment and clarity into your heart.
And as you feel that white light radiating in your heart,
Down your arms,
Down your hands,
Down your back,
Down your chest,
And you feel your body relaxing and letting go of anything that doesn't serve your highest and best good at this moment in time.
And we're going to allow that light to continue to cascade down over your abdomen,
Your stomach,
Allowing that light to infuse and warm and relax abdomen,
Stomach,
Hands,
Down your arms,
Down your hands,
Everything relaxing,
Letting go.
And that warm,
Beautiful light continues down the path of your body as it goes over your hips,
Your thighs,
Your pelvic area,
Your sacral chakra,
Your root chakra.
And again,
It's infused with that beautiful,
Warm,
Loving,
Relaxing light.
And the light continues to move down your legs,
Your upper thighs,
Your hamstrings,
Your hips,
Releasing and letting go of anything that you're holding onto that doesn't serve you as your whole body relaxes into that beautiful,
Warm,
White light.
The light continues to move down past your knees,
Past your ankles,
Past your feet,
Past your toes,
Until your whole entire body is enveloped in this beautiful,
Warm,
Comforting,
Safe,
White light.
And as this white light grows and is infused with all of the cells in your body,
It begins to expand and creates a bubble,
A bubble of safety,
A bubble of warmth,
A bubble of contentment and joy and peace,
Where you are held,
Where you are loved.
And as we allow that light and that bubble to strengthen,
We go inside that bubble.
And inside that bubble,
We see that there is a pathway.
The bubble seems to stretch out like a landscape,
And there's a pathway.
A pathway may show up for you in any way.
Maybe it's a pathway you know,
Maybe it's something from your imagination.
And as you look at that pathway,
You slowly take steps to follow down that pathway.
As you follow that pathway,
Notice what does it smell like?
What does it feel like?
What does it look like?
Are there any sounds?
Involve your whole being,
Your whole senses,
As you continue down this pathway.
Take a moment to breathe and explore this pathway.
Where does it go?
What do you pass?
And as you continue down this pathway,
Notice that there are scenes from your life,
Just in small little pockets,
Small little screens.
And you realize that you are going back in time.
There's significant moments,
And we don't stop,
And we're not dwelling on those significant moments.
We're just noticing little screens embedded,
Almost like they're floating along in the pathway.
As you continue down this pathway,
Into your past,
You feel calm,
Peaceful,
Supported,
Within this bubble of light.
Take some time here as we continue down this path,
Feeling the peace and contentment and support.
Up ahead on the path,
You notice a child waiting for you.
You notice that this is the younger version of you,
The part of you that your soul is asking you to connect with at this moment in time.
As you come closer,
The child smiles at you,
Greets you with love,
Perhaps there's an embrace.
In that moment,
You thank your younger self for the learning and the wisdom that they gained,
That you've carried with you throughout your life.
Perhaps you invite your younger self to sit with you.
Take a moment just to enjoy the presence of the innocence and the childlike curiosity of your younger self.
Remember with joy what it meant to be a child full of curiosity and wonder about the world around them.
And as you sit,
Basking in the presence of your inner child,
You ask,
What is it that I need to remember right now?
What is it that I need to know for my own highest and best good,
For my own soul evolution at this moment in time?
What do I need to remember?
Take a moment,
Allow any images,
Thoughts,
Or feelings to come.
I will mind the time.
Allow and trust that the inner knowing is exactly what you need to hear at this moment in time.
As you have listened,
You thank your younger self for the wisdom that they have shared and you make a commitment to integrate this information,
This knowledge,
Into your own growth and evolution in this time and space,
In your current reality.
Thank your inner child.
Embrace.
Hold.
Love.
And then with gratitude,
Bid farewell as they go off to play and you turn to go down the path.
And as you're walking down the path,
You are recognizing all of the ways that your child-like self,
All of the learning,
All the wisdom from your child has actually helped you through all scenarios in your life.
And as you continue to walk up the path back to this current moment,
This current time,
You are filled with the strength and the wisdom of your inner child.
And with the commitment and the resolve to bring this learning and understanding into your current reality for your highest and best good,
You begin to become aware of your body,
Of your space and time in your current reality.
Allow your heart to be filled with a beautiful radiant light and that light energizes your whole body,
Starting at your heart and filtering upwards towards your head and downwards towards your toes until your whole body is filled with a loving blissful light that is connected to divine source wisdom.
And as you gently open your eyes,
You're filled with love and joy and curiosity and wonder of a child.
