The Joy Blueprint: Time Line Blip

This tip to enhance joy is about learning to see the big picture. When we look over the span of our whole life, or even multiple lifetimes, events are just events. This exercise helps us to relook at time in order to make challenges feel a little less overwhelming.

Lesson 5

The Joy Blueprint: Good, Bad, Who Knows

This lesson is based on a Zen fable about a farmer who doesn't put a value judgment on things that seem good, bad, or otherwise. It is a reminder that we don't always know the outcome and the learning that happens in life events, and teaches us to be present.

The Joy Blueprint: Negative Self-Talk

Sometimes it is the negative self-talk that can make us stuck in a cycle of scarcity thinking or limitations. This practice is an opportunity to understand whose voice the negative self-talk is, and gently release it back where it belongs.

Sometimes when we are saying yes to the needs and wants of others, we are actually saying no to ourselves. This can lead to feelings of overwhelm, helplessness, and resentment. Understanding where we are at with boundary setting is key to finding peace.

Nature is a beautiful gift that is always accessible to us. Being in nature makes us feel better on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. For this lesson, put on your walking shoes and take a walk with me.
