Good for you for choosing this recording so that I can give you a two-minute pep talk so you can stick to your goal.
Sticking to goals is really hard sometimes.
There are distractions,
There are temptations,
And this is your two-minute pep talk.
So right now,
I want you to close your eyes and just take a deep breath and remind yourself what is your goal.
What are you trying to achieve?
All right.
We're going to take another deep breath in,
And I want you to remember why is this goal important to you?
Why did you set this goal in the first place?
Okay.
Now,
What is it that's going on right now that's making you feel tempted?
What's happening?
Is there something else that you could do right now that would satisfy the same need to some degree enough that it would allow you to stick to your goal?
Perfect.
Now,
I want you to remember a time and really clearly remember a time when you said no to the temptation,
When you walked away from the temptation,
And how did you feel about yourself when you managed to avoid temptation?
How did you feel?
Internalize that right now.
You've got this,
My friend.
You can do this.
You can stick to your goals.
You can achieve your goals.
You can do anything you want.
It is in your power.
You have the power to be and do whatever you need to be and do.
