Hello and thank you for choosing this meditation to help you reach your goals.
This is Nancy from Nancy Inspired and I have created a meditation that I use myself to help me keep in mind the goal I have to maintain a healthy weight.
So let's begin.
You have a goal in mind.
You have selected this meditation to help you reach that goal.
There are reasons you want to celebrate your body by making healthier choices.
However,
We are well aware of all of the temptations and distractions and habits that get in the way.
Let's journey together with some visualization that will create new pathways with practice.
It takes many repetitions to make a habit,
A new habit or a new neural pathway.
So let's begin and feel free to repeat this often to help ourselves help ourselves.
This visualization can be done while laying or sitting in meditation,
But it can also just be playing in the background.
I found that some of my most powerful meditations happened while I was walking my dog.
I was able to really visualize because my body was busy.
So feel free to just have this playing in the background as well.
So let's begin by taking a few deep breaths together.
And these deep breaths are with gratitude for our bodies.
Our bodies have carried us this far in the journey.
No matter how we might abuse it or think negatively of it,
It is still breathing for us.
It's bringing oxygen to our systems.
Our hearts are pumping,
Carrying nutrients throughout our bodies.
Our bodies are really a miracle.
So we're going to take three deep breaths to truly honor the miracle that are our bodies.
Allow these breaths to reach from the top of our head to the tips of our toes.
One more time.
All right.
Imagine that in front of you is a curtain and this curtain is covering a large movie screen.
I want you to just see yourself reaching out for the tassel cord on the side of the curtain.
And as you pull that cord,
The curtain opens to reveal a screen and the light begins to project an image on the screen.
And as you watch the image begin to come into focus,
You realize that the light is actually coming from your heart center.
Take a minute to connect to that light as it's pouring from your own heart chakra onto the screen.
And as the image starts to come into focus,
You realize that the image is a healthier,
Vibrant,
More energetic version of you.
Just take a minute to study the image as it comes into focus.
What are you doing on the screen?
How do you seem to feel on the screen?
What are you wearing?
How does it feel to move in this version of yourself?
Take in this vision of the future you and allow yourself to deeply experience the joy you see.
Internalize it with a deep breath,
Acknowledging the connection to this image that's coming from your own heart center.
Take a few minutes to watch the scene being shown to you unfold.
Try to notice all the details that you can.
As you continue to watch the scene in front of you,
The light connecting you to the image seems to go brighter.
It's shimmer,
Change.
You begin to feel a warm,
Gentle pull towards the screen as the future you stops and turns to face you.
The screen seems to almost dissolve as the future you beckons you closer.
You realize that you have a choice.
You could continue to watch or you can step forward and become that future version of yourself.
You pause as you realize that this is you.
This is within your power.
This is a higher version of yourself that already exists.
You step forward and you feel yourself melding and becoming one with the vision of you.
This is you.
As you knit together with this ideal version of yourself,
Take in the details.
What does it feel like to feel strong and light,
Energetic and healthy?
What does it feel like to move like this?
What does it feel like in your clothing?
This is you.
Time is not as linear as we perceive it to be.
This you exists right now,
Just in another time and space.
This is you.
While you're connected to this version of you,
Ask yourself,
What is one thing that you are doing that is greatly contributing to your health and well-being?
Just one thing.
And listen for the answer.
It may come as words or an image or just a feeling,
But listen.
What is one thing that you are doing that is greatly contributing to your health and well-being?
Spend a few more moments in this beautiful version of yourself.
Relish in how it feels.
Internalize the advice that was given as you are enjoying being in this improved version of yourself,
A higher connected version of ourself.
You notice the version of yourself that's looking into the screen like a window.
As you're noticing,
The window begins to melt away and you walk through and you embrace your current self.
The higher self giving the current self a warm,
Loving embrace full of love,
Encouragement,
Empowerment,
And you quietly whisper,
I love you as the two versions meld into one.
Take a moment to breathe in that love for yourself and reflect on the advice that was given.
What is one change that you can make right now to help you achieve your goal?
Speak the words in your mind as a commitment starting with I and speak it in the present tense.
Perhaps it's drink more water.
I drink enough water to help cleanse my system or perhaps it's movement.
I look for opportunities to move more with joy every day or maybe it's healthy food choices.
I look for opportunities to eat nutrient rich foods and limit the amount of harmful foods.
Choose what is your commitment.
What was the one bit of advice that your higher version of yourself gave to you and phrase it as an I statement in the present tense.
Let's say it three times.
Now really feel into that commitment to yourself and know that both versions of yourself are within you right now.
You have the power to be any version of yourself that you choose.
You are loved divinely and completely.
Now you are making choices to love yourself even more fully and completely.
As we begin to ground ourselves back to the present moment remember that this version of you is always with you.
It's with you right now.
Take a moment each day maybe many times a day to connect with it.
Recognize that your best self is within you at all times.
Let's end our practice today with three more deep breaths with gratitude for the beautiful you that you are.
You are beautiful.
You are divine.
You are magical.
