Hello and thank you for joining me Nancy from Nancy Inspired for this free flow journal writing practice on reclaiming our power.
It's something I've been thinking about a lot lately as I find myself in dynamics where I am giving away my power either consciously or subconsciously.
I find myself tired and depleted and I realize that I've been giving away my power and allowing others to usurp my power.
So helping to understand what we feel about power and where our power comes from as well as the scenarios that are taking our power are going to help us gain better insight so that we can stand solidly in our power and reclaim it.
For this activity we're going to be journaling but this journaling is almost more of a meditation.
We're going to open up our minds to that part,
That deeper part of ourselves,
That deeper part of our souls that are able to talk to us and speak the truth and sometimes we have to get our own selves out of our way,
Our egos out of the way so we can really hear what that deeper part wants to say.
So I will give you a prompt and a question and then I will give you space to write and as you're writing just write whatever comes,
The words that come.
Sometimes it'll make sense,
Sometimes it won't make sense,
Sometimes you'll have moments when you don't know what to say and you can actually write,
I don't know what to say.
But as we give ourselves a little more space to dive deep into that deeper part of ourselves it's amazing what kind of wisdom can come sometimes.
So make sure you grab a pen and a journal or paper to write on.
Allow yourself to be seated comfortably and we're going to get ready to begin our exploration on reclaiming our power.
Let's begin by taking a deep breath in and exhale.
We're going to do another deep breath in and as we do so we're going to just tap into the power that we were born with,
That we came to this earth with and then in our next inhalation we're going to tap into all of our ancestral power from our lineage,
From our ancestors,
Maybe even past lives.
We're going to tap into that power as we explore what is power.
The first question that you're going to free flow right about is exactly that,
What is?
So we're going to start by saying power is and start writing.
Anytime you lose your train of thought start again with power is.
I'll give you some time to write.
Hopefully I gave you enough time to explore that question.
With any of these questions you can always go back and do it again to go a little bit deeper.
The next question we're going to free flow right is response to my power comes from,
My power comes from.
We're going to change our train of thought and again you can always go back to a particular prompt and the next question or the next prompt is I am aware that I lose power when.
I am aware that I lose power when.
Very good.
Again if you want to explore that question deeper please feel free to do it again.
The last prompt is I reclaim my power when I.
I reclaim my power when I.
We're going to end this practice today with some affirmations.
You're welcome to write them down or just say them in your mind after me.
You can say them out loud but we're going to start with I reclaim all my power.
I reclaim the power that has been taken from me or that I have given away.
I banish all fears guilt or shame that I might carry that allow my power to be drained.
I understand where my power comes from and how to draw on it when needed.
I am powerful and strong and vibrant.
I know what is best for me and I stand in my power to attain it.
I reclaim all my power.
I reclaim all my power.
I reclaim all my power.
Thank you so much for joining me.
I wish you all the blessings and fortunes as you stand in your power.
