Welcome.

In this meditation,

We will be releasing tension and stored energy from the hips.

You may not always feel the things that are said,

But remember,

Visualization and intention is strong.

You found this meditation for a reason.

Let yourself fully drop into it.

This meditation is great lying down,

But seated works well too.

Whatever you choose,

Bring some space between the legs so the hips feel open.

Now melt.

The bottom of the feet.

The calves.

The muscles and ligaments around the knees melt.

The quads.

Inner thighs.

Hip flexors.

Gluteus and outer hips surrender down towards the ground.

As you inhale,

Breathe down into the deepest part of the belly,

And with the exhale,

Let the whole back soften.

The chest,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Neck melt.

The jaw,

Lips,

Cheeks,

Brows melt.

Release and rest.

You are fully present,

Relaxed and ready to go deeper into release.

Bring awareness to the lowest part of the belly,

In the center of the pelvis.

Slowly breathe in and out,

Sending the breath all the way down deep.

Continue sending this breath into the center of the low abdomen.

Letting it form and morph into a small pond.

Inhaling deeply.

Exhaling fully.

Take a few more breaths on your own.

All that breath has moved into a small pond.

Bring your awareness to the small pond of breath,

And start to let it warm.

And let it get warmer as it heats.

Just like a pot of water on the stove,

It starts to bubble and steam.

Without letting the water get so hot that it burns,

Let the steam from the top of the pond start to move.

Let it move into the hip flexors,

The muscles right on the insides of the hip bones that travel down to the thighs.

Let the steam start to loosen them up,

To start to separate the fibers.

Let the steam open and seep into and around the lowest abdomen.

Let it spread out through the outer hips.

Let it move through and open the inner thighs.

This may cause mental discomfort.

The stagnant energy in the hips is stored energy in a motion that wasn't let out before now.

Just continue to breathe slowly and let the steam loosen it all up.

Continue with the visual and release and deepen into it,

As the muscles relax even more.

The steam has all evaporated.

Now,

Imagine a pulsing sensation from the inside,

Stronger than steam,

Pressing into the muscles from the inside,

Pressing the energy out through the open and solid spine.

Let the steam move into the hip flexors,

Letting the energy out through the open and softened fibers,

The hip bones inside the inner thighs,

Inside the outer hips and the glutes.

Press and pound that stagnant,

Heavy energy out.

Stop letting it take up space in your body.

Continue with the visualization and let it out.

Relax into it.

With every exhale,

Ease the body and simultaneously release the pressure.

Now,

Breathe into the heart space.

Imagine the color green forming into a ball of green light.

Send it down to the middle of the pelvis.

The steam has stopped.

The pulsing has stopped.

There is just a green,

Loving light.

Let it permeate and take up space.

Let it shine ease,

Comfort and gratitude to the whole area.

Gratitude for holding all our pain,

Trauma,

Fear and unrealized emotions.

Let it shine out safety,

Trusting that it is okay to let it all go.

Let the past that we have been clinching up move the rest of the way out of the body and let those spaces fill with the warm,

Loving energy of the heart.

It is okay to be affected in this moment.

It's also okay not to be.

Either way,

Continue to send trust,

Safety and love and let it take up the space in between the fibrous muscles.

And as the fibers move back together,

They are released from the old traumas and stagnant energy,

Replaced with trust,

Safety and love.

Take your time and stay here as long as you like.

Much Love
