Let's begin by laying down.
On our backs,
On our cushions.
Lower back touching the floor with knees up falling together.
Feet flat on the floor.
Hands at the abdomen.
Taking some deep breaths in.
And on the exhale,
Melting into your cushions.
Bringing your awareness into your body.
We're gonna take a minute to scan through the body.
Allowing the body to show us if there's anything that needs attention.
Any sensations.
Any tightness.
Any struggle.
Breathe into that area.
See what you find.
And then exhale and let it go.
We're gonna spend time today inside the body.
Rebuilding trust and self love.
Breathing in.
Ask your body,
Show me anything that needs my attention.
As emotions arise,
Or sensations arise.
Breathe into that area.
And on your exhale,
Let it go.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Relax the body.
Now bringing our awareness to heart.
Letting your heart fill up with love.
Noticing the area.
Maybe getting bigger and warmer.
Letting your chest expand.
Maybe there's a colour.
Maybe there's light.
Maybe there's a sensation.
It feels like love.
We're gonna begin to expand that feeling.
Letting it travel.
Into the shoulders.
And down into the abdomen.
And through the pelvic area.
Down the legs.
Into the calves and the feet.
From the shoulders down the arm.
Into your hands.
Warming your palms.
Up your neck.
Through into your head.
Breathing in.
Filling your body with love.
Now expanding one more step into the fat layer.
And into the skin.
Warming your skin.
Nourishing every cell.
Realising you love your body.
This body that does so much for you.
This body that is wise.
This body that shows you the way.
Breathe.
Expand that love.
Notice what's coming up.
Be curious.
Stay with love.
If memories or history in the ways that you've been with your body arise.
Just notice.
And know that they can be released.
You can now move forward.
Loving your body.
Trusting your body.
Listening to your body.
Taking care of your body.
And hearing your soul through the body.
Loving your body from that heart centre.
As the music fades.
Staying with self love right out to the skin.
And maybe beyond.
Taking as much time as you like.
Feeling this new relationship with your body.
