All right,
Go ahead and take a seat in your,
Whatever position feels best that is most
supportive to your body and to relax into your body.
This meditation is going to be coming to you on Valentine's Day,
A special day that is
celebrating love and connection between people and within yourself.
In honor of this Valentine's Day,
I'm going to be sharing a meditation to connect with
your heart in a way that is going to liberate yourself from tightness in your chest,
From
the things that have hurt you in the past that maybe have closed off your connection
with your body and your heart.
I'm currently sitting in Vermont by Lake Champlain at dusk.
Maybe you can hear the water or the birds.
We'll see what gets picked up with the audio.
I'd like you to begin bringing attention to your breath.
Don't force the breath into your body,
Let it naturally be pulled into your body.
Imagine it's being pulled from the root of your being,
Through your nose,
Into your lungs,
And from that pull is where the expansion in your body comes from,
From below your spine.
The base of your spine,
The roots of your being.
In this moment,
Notice where you might be holding on to tension in your body.
Gently release by letting yourself be held by the surface you are sitting on or laying on.
I'd like to take a moment while we're here to share so much gratitude and recognition
for where I am currently,
And the spirits and the caretakers of this land and the water.
Thank you.
I invite you to place a hand on your body,
Maybe one over your heart,
And notice where in your chest it might be tight.
You might feel like your shoulders are hunching.
And tell yourself it is safe to release and surrender because I am held by this loving earth.
Every time your brain,
Your mind starts to wander,
Take a breath,
And as you exhale,
Bring your attention back to your body where your hand is and the sensations you'll feel.
The sensation you'll feel doesn't come from forcing it.
It comes from relaxing and breathing.
Connect it to your roots.
Imagine there is light extending from the base of your spine down into this earth
and connecting to the roots of every plant,
Every tree,
The fungi,
Everything that exists underneath the surface of the earth.
Now imagine that light is moving up your spine and wrapping around your heart.
What if just for today we open ourselves to a love connection with the planet?
One of the most safest,
Sacred relationships and connections we could foster.
The earth has a beautiful way of bringing your body into a state of rest,
Of safety,
Of groundedness.
And from this place of groundedness,
Rootedness,
We can open our hearts to the sky,
To the divine essence,
To the elements of air.
Feel that breath enter you again.
Imagine your energy field is opening up like a flower above you
and welcome in your higher self.
With every heartbeat,
There is a connection between this divine essence and the divine earth.
In this moment,
I welcome and invite whoever is listening,
The higher self of everyone who is listening,
To be present with this human.
If you have any messages,
Images,
Sensations you'd like to bring down in a visceral way to be felt by this human,
This is the time now.
Be grounded and supported and safe to experience this in our heart.
Help us to open our hearts like a flower,
To feel what it's like to surrender their walls.
Feel ready.

Give yourself a hug.
Wrap your arms around yourself and let yourself be held by your own being.
This is your home here.
This is where you receive love.
This is where you create stability and security.
This is where you create what you experience outside of you.
