Allowing your body to settle into a comfortable position.
Letting your eyes gently come to a close.
There is no need to do anything.
You are here just to notice.
Taking a moment to acknowledge any discomfort or resistance.
Knowing that it is okay to feel this way.
Allowing your attention to settle on your body resting in this moment.
Noticing any sensations that are present in your body right now.
When you notice your mind wandering,
Gently,
With kindness,
Reminding yourself that this time is just for you.
Knowing that it is perfectly natural for thoughts to arise in this moment.
Allowing yourself to rest in stillness.
Knowing that thoughts come and go.
None lasting forever.
Resting here in stillness.
Acknowledging that you are taking time to be present with yourself.
Allowing your attention to rest on your breath.
Flowing in and flowing out.
Noticing the rise and fall of your belly with each breath.
You do not need to do anything.
Your breath flows without effort.
Right here and right now.
When you notice thoughts capturing your attention,
Gently guiding your awareness back to your breath.
Happening in this very moment.
Acknowledging that each breath is a new beginning.
Embracing this opportunity to be present and aware of this very moment of life.
Observing how your breath flows naturally.
Always being here with you in every moment of life.
Noticing the nature of your mind in this moment.
Is it busy or calm?
Maybe tired or perhaps alert.
Observing your mind as it is.
As you are in this very moment.
Allowing empathy to settle in for yourself.
Knowing that remaining here in stillness is not always easy.
By observing your mind,
You are understanding the nature of reality.
Everything is always changing.
So too are the thoughts that are present with you.
In this moment of stillness,
Approaching each moment with curiosity and openness.
As if experiencing life in this very moment for the first time.
Gently allowing your awareness to come back into the room and the space around you.
Feeling in this very moment how your body rests in stillness.
Allowing your mind to rest in peace.
Remembering to be gentle with yourself.
As you transition back to your day.
As you feel ready,
Slowly allowing your eyes to open.
