Welcome to this moment of stillness.

Allowing yourself to settle into a comfortable position.

Letting your eyes gently come to a close.

Feeling your body resting,

Fully supported by the surface beneath you.

Noticing how your breath flows naturally,

Without effort.

It is natural to hold tension without realizing it.

In this moment,

Acknowledging your body in this restful state.

Noticing how your breath flows in and flows out without holding on.

Knowing that in this very moment,

You are complete just as you are.

Noticing where your mind is right now.

Observing thoughts as they capture your attention.

When you find yourself carried away by thoughts,

Gently,

With kindness,

Allowing yourself to rest as your body finds stillness.

Remembering that this practice is not about stopping thoughts,

But rather noticing thoughts as thoughts in this very moment.

Knowing that every time we are aware of a thought as a thought,

We allow distance between ourselves and the thought.

Acknowledging that deep inside,

We are much more than the thoughts that arrive and pass away.

Yet our awareness remains.

Allowing your awareness to rest on your chest.

Knowing in this very moment that inside your chest,

Your heart is beating,

Keeping you alive and well.

What feelings are present here with you in this moment?

Noticing your feelings just as they are.

Just as you are in this moment.

Acknowledging that whatever you feel is valid.

Allowing space for your feelings to exist in this moment.

Acknowledging that your feelings are a teacher in this very moment.

Showing that you are alive and experiencing life right now.

Noticing how your breath continues to flow naturally and without effort as you feel whatever is present.

Knowing that in this very moment,

The brave act in you to face your feelings and allow them to be just as they are.

Just as you are right now.

Knowing that with time,

Feelings pass away,

But you remain here in stillness and peace.

Gently allowing your awareness to come back into the room and the space around you.

Feeling how your body rests in stillness.

Fully supported and at ease.

Acknowledging your effort here to pause and connect with yourself as an act of self-compassion.

As you feel ready,

Gently and slowly allowing your eyes to open.
