Hello everyone,

My name is Morgan Harvelle and I am the owner and founder of Budding Lotus Meditation.

Today's meditation is going to be focused on when you feel stuck in life,

When you feel like nothing is happening for you despite your best intentions.

So if you would like to join me today,

I'd like to begin by finding a comfortable position either lying down or in a chair,

Seated,

And closing our eyes for us to begin with an inhale through our nose.

Release that breath,

Slow and controlled,

Out through your mouth and allow yourself to fall into a rhythm,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Feeling the breath deepen with each cycle.

I want you to allow any tension or tightness in your body,

Particularly in your face and jaw and shoulder,

To be dismissed.

Let your body know that we no longer need that energy and that we're releasing it by allowing our body to relax,

For our arms to become heavy,

For our brow to soften,

And for our jaw to loosen.

Continue breathing,

Using the exhale to help dismiss any of that tension or tightness,

Adding a deep sigh even if necessary to really clear out anything that's stagnant or stubborn within you,

Clearing up space.

Good.

Sometimes it can feel extremely frustrating,

Hopeless even,

When despite your best efforts,

You feel that this energy is not manifesting the reality that you know you deserve,

The reality that you hope for,

That you pray for,

That you dream for.

Despite all your best efforts,

It is being held from you.

I want you to focus on the emotions that arise due to the separation of you from your dreams.

How does it manifest in your body?

How does it manifest in your mind?

As we identify those feelings,

As we identify those thoughts that come up,

I want you to visualize yourself calling those thoughts,

Calling those feelings and how they express themselves within your body out.

Let it be known that the negativity,

The judgment that you may be passing on yourself,

The harshness of which you speak to yourself,

The punishment that you enact upon yourself,

Whether that be physical or emotional,

Call it out and let it know that it is not necessary.

That harshness,

That judgment,

That shame even,

Is not going to be what changes your circumstance.

It's not going to bring you any closer to your dreams and you do not need it to get to where you want to be most.

I want you to clear it out.

Free up space within your mind,

Within your heart,

Within your being and allow forgiveness to flow in.

I want you to forgive yourself for whatever crimes you think you've committed that you believe have landed you in this situation,

In this space that you are experiencing.

And know that all of this time,

All of the time in your life has been you trying your absolute best.

And it's not that it is not good enough,

It is just simply not your time.

And no amount of self-deprecating thoughts,

No amount of harsh self-talk or judgment or punishment is going to change that.

But you can free yourself from that today if you allow yourself to be forgiven and allow yourself to just be an observer of life.

You do not have to be someone you already are.

You do not need to prove yourself to others or to yourself.

You are already someone that is important.

You are already someone that is worthy.

You have always been someone who is worthy and you will continue to be someone who is worthy.

Know that you are enough.

And just like in the natural world,

It is not before long that things change.

You too will also go through change.

You will be moved through time and space and it will look different than what it has,

What it does right now.

As long as you are open to what it is that the world has to show you,

As long as you trust yourself,

That regardless of the path that you are shown,

You will be successful.

You will find your way.

As long as you are open,

As long as you believe in yourself,

Your life will also change.

In this time of great uncertainty,

Where it's easy to feel hopeless,

Where it's easy to feel overwhelmed,

Where it's easy to feel disappointed in the way that life is going,

I want you to trust yourself and your ability to find your way.

You are extremely capable and I have the utmost confidence that we will all find our way.

That the world will find its way to a place that is loving,

That is healing,

That is full of opportunity,

The values,

The unique properties of each person and allows them to shine in a way that allows us as a collective to grow bigger and brighter and stronger and happier.

Inhale deeply in through your nose and exhale slowly and controlled,

Releasing the things that you cannot control.

You are not stuck,

You are not being punished and most importantly,

You are not failing.

I invite you to take each day one at a time and show up for yourself in a way that is loving,

In a way that is compassionate,

In a way that is caring,

In a way that is invested in your happiness and know that that is more than enough.

I want you to continue to do your best,

Doing what you can,

Allowing yourself to just be.

Inhale here together one last time and exhale slowly and controlled.

It can feel hard to trust in the world right now so I ask that you trust in yourself and let that be enough.
