Hello and welcome.

My name is Morgan Norvell and I am the owner and founder of Budding Lotus Meditation.

Today I'm going to be taking you through a meditation that focuses on letting go and allowing yourself to become light again as you release the things that were once weighing you down.

So if you'd like to join me,

Let's find a spot that's comfortable for you to either sit in a chair or lying down on the ground.

Allow your eyes to come to a close and begin as we inhale through our nose and exhale slow and controlled out through our mouth.

Continue in this way,

Inhaling just a little deeper than you did before and exhaling,

Creating a smooth controlled stream as you breathe out.

We flow in this way,

Feeling our body soften and become heavy as you get comfortable in this space.

Once you have found your rhythm,

I want to take you through the visualization portion.

Begin to visualize in your mind's eye,

You standing outside under a blue sky and warm sun,

Surrounded by lush greenery.

The air is temperate and mild and feels comfortable to your skin.

You inhale deeply,

Taking in the fresh,

Clean air,

Feeling it fill up your lungs and exhaling,

Releasing it.

As you look out and admire this space,

I'd like you to stay cognizant and aware of your breathing as we're going to use it to help you let go.

I want you to think of the things that have been weighing you down recently,

Things that have been heavy on your mind and heart.

And using the breath,

I want you to visualize gathering it on your inhale,

Collecting all the emotions and feelings you have and pushing it out of your body,

Using that exhale to remove it from the inside and pushing it outside of your body.

If you need extra help to visualize this,

Visualize yourself blowing bubbles,

Inhaling,

Gathering the air,

The energy that no longer serves you and trapping it inside of that bubble and watching it float away on the breeze,

Out of your mind,

Out of your sight even,

Releasing you from its heaviness.

Once that bubble is gone,

It is gone and you are free from that worry,

From that stress,

And you are free from that worry,

From that stress,

From that heaviness.

So we continue in this way,

Using the inhale to gather the things that no longer serve us and remove them,

Filling up our bubbles,

Getting rid of it on our exhale,

Watching as that weight drifts away,

Harmless,

Out of our sight,

Out of our mind,

And out of our body,

Freeing our spirit and creating space.

I'm going to allow you to continue in the same way,

Releasing and letting go,

Watching as your worries and concerns become inconsequential,

Silly even,

As they are able to be contained and removed in some way.

Be contained and removed in something as light and gentle as a bubble.

Very good.

You feel yourself lighter,

More buoyant,

Free.

You feel free,

More so than you have in the past.

And as you blow this bubble,

You notice that it starts to surround you,

Lifting you off of the ground,

Gently lifting you into the sky as you are now weightless.

In this bubble,

You are safe and you are free.

You feel a sense of childlike wonder as you look at the scenery that was once around you that is now below you.

You are now reaching new heights,

Being taken into new spaces,

Places that you never knew were even imaginable.

Your heart and mind feel light and free.

And as you drift around,

You know that you have truly achieved something splendid here.

And letting go,

You have freed yourself to experience something that is new,

Something that is joyful,

Something that is new.

And as you drift around,

You know that you have truly achieved something splendid here.

And letting go,

You have freed yourself to experience something that is new,

Something that is joyful,

Something that is free.

You deserve to have a moment's peace,

To be worry-free,

And to enjoy this moment that you have achieved.

We inhale deeply here in the bubble,

Taking in an air of freedom,

And letting go as we breathe.

And as you breathe,

You feel a sense of joy and a sense of freedom.

And as you breathe,

You feel a sense of freedom.

And as you breathe,

You feel a sense of freedom.

And as you let go,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

Taking in an air that is life-giving,

You notice as your bubble you notice as your bubble starts to drift gently down starts to drift gently down out from the sky back to the grass that you once stood on.

You are gently delivered back to where you started.

But this time you are new.

You are hopeful.

You are free of worry and stress.

You are free of worry and stress.

And you are eager And you are eager to see the world through this new lens.

Allow yourself to carry this light-heartedness Allow yourself to carry this light-heartedness into the world.

Allow yourself to share it with others,

Imparting a sense of ease imparting a sense of ease within your life a sense of ease in the life of others.

And when you do,

Feel that you are being anchored or tied down.

Allow yourself to return here.

Allow yourself to return here.

We inhale one last time here through our nose and exhale slow and controlled out through our mouths.
