Dear one,
Rest your eyes now and soften into your heart.
Let this be a time devoted to you,
A space where you meet yourself in the waters of your own deep knowing.
Beyond the doing,
Beyond the striving,
Just rest love in your beloved body.
In this meditation you will cultivate deep acceptance and compassion as you honor yourself as you are.
So often we push away parts of ourselves,
We keep them cloaked in shadow.
But right here,
Right now,
All of you is welcome.
All of you can be seen,
Even the parts that ache.
Even the fear and the sadness,
The anger,
The self-doubt.
They too have a seat at the table,
Along with your joy,
Your love,
Your laughter.
And so I invite you now to turn your attention towards your breath.
Taking a few deep,
Slow,
Nourishing breaths into the belly.
And then releasing on an open mouth exhale.
Then let the breath settle into its natural rhythm,
Resting into your body's unique pulse as you become intimate with your inhales and exhales.
Throughout this practice your attention may drift.
If this happens,
Simply notice your mind wandering without judgment and return back home to your breath,
Letting this be your anchor,
Grounding you into this moment.
And as you breathe here,
Feel into your base,
Noticing where your body meets the furniture,
The cushion,
Or the floor beneath you.
Breathe in deeper down into this support with every exhale.
Notice how the support rises up to meet you,
How you are held by the earth in every moment.
As your body becomes heavy now,
Let all the threads of tension unravel like spools of soft thread.
Positioning the jaw,
The face,
The space around your eyes.
Allowing the shoulders to relax,
The belly to soften.
Allowing relaxation into the hips and the pelvic floor as you rest deeper into your seat.
Continue to keep this thread of connection to your body and breath as I invite you now to place your hands on your heart or just rest your mind's eye at the heart center,
Feeling into this space within the body that blooms with love.
And then silently chant these words to yourself three times.
All of me is welcome here.
All of me is welcome here.
All of me is welcome here.
Now rest your arms if you wish and just breathe deeply here,
Seeing and feeling these words as the nectar they are,
Nourishing every cell,
Every tissue,
Every organ inside you.
Notice how it feels to welcome these words of wisdom into the soft channels of your heart.
Whatever you sense,
Feel or know,
Let it all be present.
Let it all revolve around the doorway of your devoted heart.
There's no need to change or fix anything.
You are just purely seeing,
Accepting and being with whatever arises as you bear witness to it all.
Remember if the mind begins to wander or you lose that connection to yourself,
Just gently and lovingly bring yourself back to your breath and body and to the knowing that all of you is welcome here.
Continue to meet yourself exactly as you are with compassion,
Devotion,
With deep love,
Witnessing breathing and being with all of it.
I invite you to dwell here for as long as you desire,
Beholding all of you with acceptance and devotion.
And then when you are ready,
Take a moment to bow in gratitude to your heart,
Connecting with the light of love that lives within you.
This flame that will never die but only grow until your whole being glistens.
Then take your time to feel into your breath,
Your whole body,
Feeling into the space or the room you are in.
And then gently,
Slowly opening your eyes.
Dear one,
I invite you to continue to embody this deep knowing and feeling that all of you is welcome here as you move throughout your day or night.
So much love to you.
Thank you for being.
