Welcome to this gentle and grounding Winter Solstice Ritual, a sacred pause to honour the longest night of the year and to welcome the return of the light. You’ll be guided into stillness through breath and presence, and we chant the ancient mantra Asato mā sadgamaya — a prayer that leads from darkness to light, from confusion to clarity, and back into the heart. You’re also invited into the 13 Wishes Ritual, a tradition of the Twelve Holy Nights (Dec 25 – Jan 6). You’ll write down 13 wishes for the year ahead. Each night, one wish is offered to the fire — unopened and released with trust. The final wish, opened on January 6th, becomes a guiding theme for the new year. This ceremony blends mantra, meditation, and gentle ritual to help you enter this sacred season with clarity, hope, and inner alignment. You are welcome just as you are — no previous experience needed. If you’d like to participate fully, please have paper and a pen nearby. Namaste Monika
