In this gentle practice, you’ll settle into a comfortable seat, connect with the ground beneath you, and let your breath guide you back to presence. Soft instructions invite you to relax your shoulders, lengthen your spine, and feel steady and supported. Transcript

Take a comfortable seat,

Either on a chair or on the floor,

Wherever you feel stable and at ease.

Close your eyes if that feels safe and comfortable for you.

Feel the ground beneath you,

Firm,

Steady and supportive.

Let your spine rise gently,

Imagining soft lengthening all the way from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.

Relax your shoulders away from your ears.

Bring your awareness to your breath,

Just noticing how it flows in and out.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Begin to gently move your fingers and toes.

Maybe roll your shoulders or softly turn your head from side to side.

And when the time feels right,

Slowly open your eyes.
