In this manifestation meditation we are opening up to the idea that parts of ourselves must be let go of in order to create space for something new. We are reflecting on what must be released, and using the breath to fully let go. We are then visualizing what we would like to manifest with this new space, and create within our lives.

Hello and welcome to this manifestation meditation.

Let's start to shift the awareness inward,

Closing the eyes and starting to imagine that you are powering down,

Like you are turning off your phone,

Your TV or computer,

Just allowing the noise to shift into stillness,

The flashing images to become blank space,

Finding stillness here,

Setting an intention for your practice.

Maybe it's to recharge or discover something within,

Taking a moment to set your intention and now bringing the awareness to the breath,

Noticing where you are breathing,

How you are breathing.

Is it in the chest?

Does it reach the belly?

Is the inhale the same length as the exhale?

And through this lens of the breath,

Can you tell how you are doing today?

What the overall state of your being is?

Calm and at ease?

Stressed or anxious?

Maybe it's neutral.

How are you doing?

Just like the breath can offer us clues as to how we are doing,

We can use the breath to shift into a higher state of being,

Dropping deeper within now,

Remembering your intention and taking a cleansing breath in through the nose,

Following it as it moves through the body and slowly exhaling with an open mouth release,

Softening the jaw as you let the breath leave the body,

Inhaling through the nose,

Cleansing and clearing within,

Following this breath,

Letting it reach the belly and then following the exhale,

Releasing out of the mouth,

Letting any tension go with the breath out,

Inhaling through the nose,

Allowing the breath to be deep,

Stretching throughout the whole body,

Opening the mouth wide,

Releasing fully,

Softening with the breath out,

Breathing in,

Allowing the breath to reach every cell within you,

Breathing out,

Opening the mouth,

Softening the face,

Dropping the shoulders,

One more breath in,

Allowing this to be the deepest breath of your day and slowly exhaling,

Stretching this exhale as long as possible,

Finding a new pace and rhythm within the breath.

How do you feel now?

We've had our first frost and snow here recently and with it came the end of my flower garden,

My pink and purple dahlias quickly turned to black,

The end of a chapter.

I spent a day clearing the beds,

Cutting down the once vibrant zinnias and the soft white cosmos,

The cold wind was at my back and the snow sat on the ground like a cleansing blanket.

As I cut the flowers,

I was reminded of all the summer memories,

The brilliant bouquets and arrangements that I had shared with my family and friends,

My neighbors,

The memories of my newborn daughter and I picking lavender and making mandalas with the solstice.

And while this can feel a bit sad,

I was reminded recently that in order to grow,

Sometimes parts of us must die.

As I dug up my dahlia tubers,

What started this summer as eight tubers that quickly turned into eight beautiful dahlia plants now was over 50.

50 dahlia plants that can now be shared with friends and family.

But that wouldn't have been possible without its death.

To grow,

Parts of us must die.

Let go and be reborn.

This is true of nature and it's true of us.

We cannot get to the next stage of our being while clinging to the beliefs that no longer serve us,

Stories that hold us back.

We can't grow if we don't have space to expand within.

We must let parts of ourselves die to grow and manifest more.

This season reminds us of this,

This chance to clear away,

To let go and create space for something new to be revealed.

Thinking about this for a moment,

What parts of yourself need to be let go of,

To die in this time,

To be reborn into something more?

I'll be quiet as you reflect for a moment.

The word death feels a bit intense because it is.

We can feel the weight of it.

It's not temporary change,

It's long-term.

We aren't talking about releasing a limiting belief for a moment in time.

We are talking about letting it go for the rest of time.

The self-doubt,

The people-pleasing,

The lack mindset,

The holding back,

The feelings of not being enough,

The fears.

Whatever it is,

This must go in order for you to manifest more.

Cut this away,

Clear the dead and move forward with confidence and freedom.

What is holding you back?

Feeling the space within that it's taking up,

The clenching of the jaw,

The tightness in the chest,

The upset in the belly,

The gripping of the hands.

Feeling it now,

Allowing it to surface,

To reveal itself to you.

Maybe noticing where it's lived within you,

How much space it's accumulated,

How long it's been here.

And now deciding,

Just like my garden,

If it's okay to let it go now.

To clear it away with the knowing that something beautiful is on its way.

It's so close now.

Are you ready to let this go?

Taking a deep breath in,

Holding the breath,

Feeling this within you,

Bringing it even more to the surface now,

Experiencing it,

Confronting it.

And opening the mouth,

Exhaling loudly,

Shaking the body out.

Shaking it out,

Releasing this energy,

This old part of yourself,

Allowing it to fully be let go of.

Letting it go,

Cutting it away,

Coming back into stillness,

The quiet,

And noticing how it feels to have cleared this space within.

Just like my Dahlia plants,

Taking a moment to imagine what's possible now.

The expansion,

The growth,

The change,

The manifestations that are on their way.

What is the vision for this new clear space within you?

Once again,

Taking a deep breath in,

And when you are ready,

Letting it go.

Your rebirth has arrived.

This is the time of potential,

Of clarity,

Of growth.

Remember that every single day is an opportunity to manifest your life.

You get to create whatever it is that you want right here,

Right now.

And it will be beautiful.

Bringing the palms together in prayer position for our final closing.

May you be well,

May you have the love and light of support around you,

And may you be peaceful and share that peace with the entire world.

Thank you for this practice.
