Hello and welcome to this self-love practice.
Starting to settle in and find a comfortable seat.
For this practice,
I recommend sitting up tall or if it's uncomfortable to sit with a long spine resting with your back against the wall.
Allowing the body to find its natural alignment,
Closing the eyes or finding a soft focus.
Stretching the crown of the head towards the sky.
Bringing the chin back and down slightly to create space through the back of the neck.
Allowing the shoulders to release and fall away from the ears.
The scapula of the back body stretching and reaching towards one another.
Expanding the chest and allowing the palms to rest on the body.
Feeling the weight of the arms,
Wrists,
Hands and fingertips.
Activating the belly,
Supporting the back body with a strong core.
Not gripping or tightening but rather harnessing a bit of energy in the belly.
Grounding through the base of the spine,
The pelvis and the buttocks.
And releasing the legs,
Feet and toes.
Starting to tune into the heart space.
Noticing any feelings of block or sharpness.
Does the heart space feel open and soft or closed off?
I'll be quiet as you reflect for a moment.
Through this connection to the heart space,
Gently starting to think about an intention for your practice or an intention for today.
Allowing this intention to come purely from the heart,
Not the mind's desire.
I'll be quiet as you focus on an intention for today.
Allowing the energy of this intention to be stored in the vertebrae of the spine.
As you expand and lengthen the back body,
Feeling the energy of this intention grow stronger.
Noticing the movement of this energy from the base of the spine,
The root of the body.
As it moves into the lower back,
The middle back,
The upper back,
And connects with the brain,
The mind.
If you are feeling far away from your intention at any point,
Allowing the spine to lengthen and this energy to flow freely again.
Taking a deep inhale through the nose and sighing it out,
Releasing something.
Inhaling and letting it go.
Taking one more full breath in,
Holding this breath in the body and slowly breathing out.
Settling deeper within,
Continuing to soften any tension and quieting the mind.
With this body's long and beautiful alignment,
Starting to feel a sense of expansion.
Spreading the collarbones wide and imagine taking up room,
Taking up space.
Maybe feeling the body become bigger.
Feeling the palms up towards the sky,
Stretching the arms upwards,
Feeling this expansive energy a bit deeper.
Moving the arms out to the sides,
Continuing to face the palms up towards the sky.
Feeling the energy in the palms and allowing the energy to move and flow through the entire body.
Dancing through the arms into the chest,
The neck and head,
The belly and back body,
The pelvis and the lower body,
Releasing the arms and hands,
Returning the palms to rest on the body but continuing to feel that sense of expansion.
Allowing this energy to fill the entire room,
Every corner,
Every inch.
Flowing this energy into the surrounding rooms,
The whole home or building.
Moving into the streets,
The community,
The city,
The country,
And the world.
You are not small,
Connecting with just how large your presence is,
How powerful you are,
How much energy you hold within,
Feeling open and confident,
Giving yourself permission to expand,
To take up room and space.
And this expansion,
Continuing to harness the feeling of confidence,
Saying with me,
I am confident.

Feeling this intense energy of confidence,

That you can do anything you want,
That you are powerful,
Whispering messages within of confidence and self-love?

Know that it is wrapped,
Held and supported in confident energy.
