Hello and welcome.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for sharing this space with me.
Wherever you are in the world,
Whatever time zone you're in,
I hope you're finding yourself warm,
Comfortable,
And ready to invite in the playfulness of a nature spirit.
Nature spirits can teach us how to bring more fun and adventure into our lives and remind us to not take ourselves too seriously.
And if you've joined me here now,
Then this medicine is for you.
Please close down your eyes as you begin shifting your focus from the external world to your internal world.
Sitting up nice and tall,
Breathing in through your nose,
Drawing in that beautiful breath,
Exhale,
Letting it all go,
Allowing your jaw to relax,
Allowing this space in between your eyebrows to relax.
Drawing in another deep breath through your nose,
Filling your lungs,
Filling your body,
Every cell in your body activates and opens.
And as you exhale,
Gently open your mouth and let everything go.
Let all of the tension from your day melt away,
Or if you've just woken up for the day,
Letting go of anything that might have come up in your sleep last night,
Any tension that you might have in your body,
Allowing that to release.
Breathing in deeply again through your nose,
Letting your breath elevate you,
And then exhale,
Letting it go,
Melting down into your seat,
Melting down into this present moment,
Releasing anything that's outside of your body right now.
Releasing any to-do lists that you might have,
Anything that's nagging you in the back of your mind,
Just letting that go,
Being fully present here for yourself in this very moment.
Taking a moment to connect with your body,
Connect with your heart space,
Allowing your heart space to soften.
In these times that we're in now,
It is so easy to close yourself off,
To close your heart up,
And to form a protective barrier around yourself.
And in this moment,
If only for this moment,
Give yourself permission to soften in the spaces that you have closed off.
Know that in this moment,
You are protected and you are safe.
Allow yourself to relax into that knowing that in this moment,
You are safe and you are exactly where you need to be.
And as you continue to relax and ease into this moment,
Begin to imagine that you're standing in the middle of a forest and allow your intuition to guide you here.
Maybe your forest is an old growth forest,
Maybe it's a tropical jungle,
Let your intuition take you there.
Take in the plants and the trees around you.
Begin to notice their details.
Maybe they're birds chirping in the distance.
Maybe you hear monkeys if you're in the jungle.
Take a few moments to take in your surroundings.
Notice every little detail.
And as you're taking in your surroundings,
You start to take a walk down a path in front of you.
Notice how the breeze feels on your face.
Notice what the weather feels like.
Maybe it's warm and humid.
Maybe the temperature is just right.
Maybe it's really warm.
Reach out your hands and touch the flowers and plants as you walk by them.
Notice how they feel in your hands.
Notice their colors and their shapes.
You feel very relaxed and at ease here.
Nature supports you.
And Mother Earth takes away any worry or fear that you might have in this moment.
Allow her to absorb that into her roots and her soil.
And churn those worries and those fears and those burdens into rich soil.
As you walk along this path,
You come to a clearing.
A meadow full of wildflowers that you've never seen before.
Their vibrant colors are breathtaking.
This is the mystical and magical realm of the nature spirits.
And as you step forward into the meadow,
Your senses become heightened.
Your feeling of your body becomes the space around you.
You feel connected to the whole.
You feel the vibrations of the plants and the flowers.
You can hear their singing in harmony.
You can see their beautiful colors dancing around you.
And as you step into the center of this beautiful meadow,
You are greeted by your personal nature spirit.
Nature spirits can take any form or shape or color or presence that is unique and special to you.
Try not to force anything to happen in this moment.
Relax into this space and allow your intuition to bring forward your unique nature spirit.
Allow it to speak to you.
Allow it to dance with you.
Allow it to give you the medicine that you need in this moment.
Nature spirits will often remind us that we are part of the whole.
We are of nature.
We are connected in the intricate web of existence.
We are part of the delicate balance.
And with that comes the knowing that the responsibility does not fall all on our shoulders.
We are allowed to dance in the rain and enjoy this life.
We are allowed to run barefoot in the forest.
We are allowed to celebrate for no reason at all,
Except that we're alive.
We're breathing.
We're here.
We're right here,
Right now.
Nature spirits gently remind us that light-hearted laughter is oftentimes the best medicine.
Allow yourself to be immersed in this experience.
Maybe you decide to lie down in the meadow and allow Mother Earth to support you in this moment.
Maybe you too decide to dance among the wildflowers.
Maybe you have questions for your nature spirit.
Maybe you decide to dance among the wildflowers.
Maybe you decide to dance among the wildflowers.
Know that now that you have connected with your nature spirit,
You can always return to this place and you can always return to this wisdom.
Start to ground yourself back into that meadow now.
Noticing the vibrant colors,
Placing your feet upon the soil,
Taking in the warm breeze on your face,
Noticing the temperature of the atmosphere around you,
And thanking your nature spirit for coming to you today,
For sharing their wisdom,
For sharing their medicine with you.
You start to travel back down the path that you came from,
Back into the woods or back into your jungle.
You travel down the path of the familiar trees and the plants and the flowers,
Holding out your hands,
Feeling all of the different textures,
Noticing the colors,
Connecting with Mother Earth one last time before you return into your body.
Taking a moment as you walk to thank Mother Earth for giving you her healing and her medicine.
You are unsholdering some of your burdens today.
Arriving at the place where you began,
Drawing in a deep breath through your nose,
Feeling your body expand as you breathe in,
As you exhale out your mouth,
Feeling your body contract,
Feeling your body and where it's sitting now.
Maybe starting to lift your shoulders up to your ears and gently roll them open,
Doing this a few times with your breath.
As you breathe in,
You draw your shoulders up and open.
And as you exhale,
You release your shoulders down,
Letting go one more time of any of those burdens that you might be carrying.
Breathing in,
Inviting in that beautiful fresh oxygen into your body,
Expanding with each breath,
And exhaling,
Letting all of the tension go,
Bringing all of the wisdom and the insight that you gained from today's meditation with you as you go forth into the rest of your day.
And when you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes,
Coming back fully into the present moment.
And going on with your day.
