Come to settle and inhabit,

Fully inhabit this patch of ground upon which you land.

You can nestle down and in if that feels sweet in your body until you find that little place that holds you,

Like cupped hands around you,

A little pocket of space for you just to rest and to be.

And as you allow yourself to feel the ground beneath you,

Experience the life within you and its multitude of expressions just here in this moment.

You,

A living expression of all of the infinite things.

And then allow yourself to experience this breath that we share between us.

A simple inhale and an exhale.

Inhale.

And so with each breath,

We are woven together,

Inner and outer landscape,

Ourselves into this moment,

Each one of us together.

And just allow yourself to feel into the simple rhythm of breath,

As subtle as it may be in this moment.

Soft and quiet.

Gently doing its job in the background,

Whether you are aware of it or not.

Quietly weaving,

Like an ancient one,

Grandma in the corner.

Knitting together a great massive blanket that wraps around us all.

Allow yourself to be present too,

To feel fully the weaving of each breath.

Stitching what is outside to what is inside.

Stitching what is inside to what is outside.

As you allow yourself to fully experience the life of the breath,

Weaving through your body.

See if you can allow your awareness to wander into the space just outside of the breath.

There is a doorway there at the very bottom of your exhale.

A doorway into the stillness.

Maybe linger for a moment in the space beyond the exhale to enter the infinite quietude that is always and already just there.

Just here.

Allow yourself to experience the vast and boundless stillness,

Spaciousness.

Even as the breath comes and goes,

Can you watch the breath from the threshold just on the other side through the door into the stillness?

Can you watch the movement of life from this place of spacious abiding?

As if you were seeing the earth from outer space,

Perched in the spaciousness of eternity.

See the breath come and go.

If your attention wanders back into the things of your experience,

Thoughts,

Sounds,

Sensations,

Even the movement of breath,

Just notice that.

See if you can enter through the doorway at the bottom of the exhale into the spacious stillness.

See what it's like to experience the contents of life from here.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all of the interworkings of our humanity that we forget to acknowledge the presence of eternity that is always and already forever just here.

With your soft presence,

We simply affirm the still and spacious quietude.

Affirm the infinite,

The vastness that holds every last little drop.

Please feel into the ancient grandmother energy of the breath,

Always weaving,

Weaving in the backdrop.

Experience the weaving of the breath that we share between us.

Feeling into the structure of your hands.

Gather up your hands and put your hands like a prayer at the center of your heart.

But leave just a little pocket of space between your palms.

Feel where the right hand and the left hand come together to touch.

See if you can also inhabit the space between the palms of your hands.

Feel into the space just outside of the palms of your hands,

Around the backs of the hands.

Feel into the space between you and me and everyone else in this circle.

Feel,

Experience the space we share between us and experience the vast amounts of space surrounding us.

And as you inhale,

Feel the heart float right up into the thumbs.

Feel the root of the thumbs press on the breastbone.

And as you exhale,

Just release the weight of the head down low.

And as you blink your eyes open,

Seeing not only the things in the space around you,

But maybe even seeing into the space between things as well.

Thank you so much for your practice.
