This meditation will help you connect to the present moment as you start to visualise the vast ocean and how the waves can symbolise the ebb and flow of our own feelings and emotions, as we use it to deepen our awareness to allowing things to come and go, while staying balanced within ourselves and less reactive to any turbulent ups and downs in the emotional body.

Welcome to this ocean inspired meditation.

The waves of life.

So just finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit with your spine straight or you may prefer to lie down keeping your head above your heart as you gently close your eyes all the way down.

The ocean is often seen as a powerful symbol of life's ebb and flow and just like the waves that rise and fall our emotions and experiences also go through highs and lows.

By understanding this connection it can help us to find solace and calmness within ourselves.

So just connecting into this present moment leaving anything before this time just where it was while you take the next few moments just for you with no outside distractions or worries.

Just being fully present allow the sounds of the soft music and waves to help break down any resistance to thoughts.

Just allow them to come and go just like the waves going in and out as your breathing becomes slow and steady.

Start by visualizing now the vast ocean as we can use it as a tool for helping to calm our minds and souls and by observing its natural rhythm pay attention to the gentle movement of each wave.

Notice how they rise and fall and how they effortlessly flow in harmony with the natural world.

As you observe the waves allow your thoughts and emotions to come and go just like the waves themselves instead of clinging to them or getting swept away.

Imagine your thoughts and emotions gently riding the surface of the waves gradually dissipating into the vastness of the ocean.

As you focus on the waves imagine that each wave represents something you would like to let go of.

It could be a specific thought,

A past mistake or any emotional baggage that no longer serves you.

Visualize each wave carrying away these things slowly releasing them into the depths of the ocean with each wave that comes in and goes out.

Repeat a positive affirmation or mantra to yourself.

I release and find peace within.

I let go of anything that no longer benefits me.

Allow yourself to fully immerse in the imagery and sensations of the ocean.

Feel a sense of lightness and freedom as you continue to let go with each breath.

Remember that the ocean is a gentle reminder that life is constantly changing just like the waves.

So embrace the ups and downs knowing they are part of the journey by connecting with the symbolism of the ocean and using it as a tool for meditation.

You can continue to find balance,

Calmness and a deeper understanding of your own emotions.

When you are ready take a few moments to gradually bring yourself back to the present moment.

Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Taking a nice deep breath in filling up your lungs and when you are ready slowly open your eyes.

I hope you found value today in this meditation waves of life.

May it continue to bring you peace,

Balance and calmness into your day and I hope to see you back here again soon.

Take care.
